Please read the instructions for each assignment carefully. Identifying Literary Devices: As you read the novel, complete the literary devices handout. Make sure to PROPERLY cite each quote. Study Guide Packet: As you read the novel, answer the questions in the study guide packet in complete sentences. You may not copy answers from another student s study guide, or else your packet will not be accepted for grading. Characters: Complete the character profiles using the chart provided. Make sure to include physical description, inner desires, and important traits on each character. You must include three quotes per character with page numbers. Plot Diagram: As you read the novel, complete the plot diagram. Conflicts: As you read the novel, complete the conflicts diagram using scenes from the novel that match each conflict type.
