1 Welcome to Psychology! We are going to cover some fun and interesting topics this year. To get you started the first thing that I will require is that at some point over the summer you must me and introduce yourself. You must tell me your name and why you are interested in taking Psychology. This must be done prior to the first day of school. See below for my address. The second activity you will do requires you to read the Introduction and The Cognitive Level of Analysis in your textbook. The pages you are responsible for reading will be uploaded to the school's website along with this instruction sheet. As you read, you will be responsible for completing a reading guide. The reading guide will be uploaded to the school s website. It s important that you complete the reading guide, as you will be able to use it on the quiz you will have upon your return to school in August! This assignment is worth 200 points.
