1 Paul D. Loprinzi, Ph.D. Department of Health, Exercise Science and Recreation Management School of Applied Sciences The University of Mississippi (662) (office) RESEARCH INTERESTS Physical activity promotion is the theme of my research. With a background in exercise science and behavioral epidemiology, my current research interests include using the behavioral epidemiological framework to promote physical activity across the lifespan. Specifically, I conduct research that examines the effects of physical activity and diet on various health outcomes; evaluate effective methods to assess physical activity and sedentary behavior; identify behavioral and psycho-social determinants of physical and sedentary behavior; conduct physical activity-related intervention studies; and conduct translational research.
