1 Press Release Action, Urgency, Excellence Narcotics Suppression Arrests Sgt. Daniel Gonzales Carson City Sheriff s Office Investigation Division DGonzales@carson.org The Carson City Sheriff s Special Enforcement Team (SET), with the assistance from multiple agencies to include, The Department of Public Safety Tri Net Narcotics task force, the Lyon County Sheriff s Office Special Investigation Unit (SIU), and the Reno Police Department Street Enforcement Team (SET) conducted a month long narcotics suppression activity targeting those using and selling narcotics in the Carson City area. During this suppression operation 23 people were arrested during 7 search warrants at different locations within the City. The suppression operation resulted in the seizure of 13.5 ounces of Methamphetamine, 4 ounces of Heroin, 245 prescription pills, 2 ounces of cocaine and 12 firearms. Two vehicles and almost $7,000 in cash was seized during this operation period. Search Warrant at 211 E.
