11 Let s do some math! Look at the weight and gender of the person. Calculate how much alcohol they have had in how many hours and try to figure out what his or her BAC is! 120 pound Amanda goes to a Christmas party where she has 2 mixed drinks in the first hour and 3 beers the second hour. She is 22 years old. Legally, should she drive home? After the first 2 drinks, Amanda is already at the legal limit of.08! During the second hour, she metabolizes.015, but she has 3 beers (.11). TOTAL BAC after 2 hours=.175
12 Matt Male 180 pounds 4 Beers and 1 shot in 1 hour An hour later, what is his BAC? After 4 beers, his BAC is. 08. After the shot it is.11. He waits an hour to drive home. BAC when driving home is.095. And hour after he gets home it is still. 08.
