8 Care Group Approach Vehicle for behaviour Change Promotion Care Groups consist of up to 10 community volunteers Care Group Leaders Each CGLs support about 10 women in her neighborhood (Care Group Clients - CGCs) to resolve barriers and adopt behaviours being promoted CG activities mainly involve monthly meetings & home visits Monthly schedule with H&N behaviour and gender topic HH handbook to help discuss current practices, barriers and small doable action and record commitments Men s fora, male engagement component of ENSURE Adult men are drawn from HH participating in Care Groups
