2 STANDARDIZATION OF BARIATRIC METABOLIC PROCEDURES WORLD CONSENSUS MEETING The Cry For Standardization of Bariatric Metabolic Procedures has been heard. A World Consensus Meeting on Standardization of Bariatric Metabolic Procedures is scheduled for March 22-24, 2018 at New Delhi, The meeting sponsored by the Mohak Training Foundation is organized by Dr. MAL Fobi and Dr. Mohit Bhandari, both Clinical Professors at SAIMS and Bariatric Metabolic Surgeons at Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics Surgery Center in Indore, Invited eminent proponents or originators of bariatric metabolic surgery procedure will present the standard for the procedures and offer scientific evidence for the standardization. Invited opinion leaders in Bariatric Metabolic Surgery will discuss and debate the proposed standards and a consensus will be reached for each procedure by a simple majority vote. This standard will hence be the reference for all variations of the particular procedure. Hence, a white paper will be published from the proceedings of the Consensus meeting.
