14 Women s Initiative for Self-Actualization DYDO Staff during the training session Project objectives: To secure a level of funding needed to achieve enough vaccines and strengthen immunization services in Akwa Ibom State To ensure equitable and sustainable immunization services through engagement with key stakeholders in Akwa Ibom State To promote advocacy on immunization financing Akwa Ibom State What they did: One day training for staff of WAVA members in Akwa Ibom What they achieved: Capacity building of staff on sustainable immunization financing and advocacy. Next steps: Conduct a baseline survey to gather enough data and information on the current immunization status in Akwa Ibom State Develop a Fact sheet to enhance engagement with stakeholder Conduct an advocacy meeting twice with key representatives Organize a one day (each senatorial district) round table meeting with media and other key stakeholders in three senatorial district Conduct a Bi - Monthly meetings and follow up visit to stakeholders Conduct end of the project meeting with project team and key stakeholder
