2 Water for Women aims to support improved health, equality and wellbeing in Asian and Pacific Communities through socially inclusive and sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects. Gender equality and social inclusion are central to Water for Women. Actively involving all people within communities (women, men, marginalised groups, people with disabilities) ensures more equitable and inclusive processes, which lead to more effective and sustainable outcomes in water, sanitation and hygiene. 3 Photo: SVN/Aiden Dockery Water for Women aims to: Strengthen national and subnational WASH sector systems with greater emphasis on gender, social inclusion, safely managed WASH and water security. Increase equitable, universal access to and use of sustainable WASH services, particularly for marginalised communities and community members. Strengthen gender equality and social inclusion in households, communities and institutions. Strengthen use of new evidence, innovation and practice in sustainable gender and inclusive WASH by other CSOs, national and international WASH sector actors. Our Partners: Civil Society Organisations Water for Women is proud to be partnering with ten Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to deliver 19 projects across 16 countries. Each CSO is also working with a number of international and local development partners over the course of the Fund. Collaboration is a key focus of Water for Women in order to achieve sustainable and effective outcomes. Research Organisations Research is an important element of Water for Women. The Fund aims to raise the bar in terms of gender and socially inclusive research, analysis, design and project delivery in WASH, and in doing so to lead practice globally. In the initial phase of Water for Women, four research organisations will partner with CSOs on six research projects in Asia and the Pacific. waterforwomenfund.org

4 South Asia 1 India Partnering with the Centre for Advocacy and Research (CFAR) and Research Triangle International (RTI) in reaching some of India s most at risk people through Mobilising, facilitating and replicating socially inclusive WASH initiatives in India s urban slums. 2 Pakistan Partnering with International Rescue Committee (IRC) to provide inclusive and sustainable WASH services to an estimated 168,758 people and improved governance systems in three districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. 3 Bhutan Partnering with SNV Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV) in delivery of Beyond the Finish Line - Sustainable Sanitation and Hygiene for All in Bhutan to provide equitable, universal access to safely managed sanitation and hygiene for more than 275,000 people. 4 Nepal Partnering with SNV Netherlands Development Organisation to deliver Beyond the Finish Line - Inclusive and Sustainable Rural Water Supply Services to improve health, gender equality and social inclusion, and wellbeing reaching an estimated 40,000 people and 30 institutions in rural communities in Nepal. 5 Bangladesh Partnering with World Vision Australia in the delivery of SHOMOTA - strengthening gender equality and social inclusion through WASH in Bangladesh to reach an estimated 179,528 people in schools and communities in Jamalpur, Gaibandha, and Sathkhira districts of Bangladesh.

5 South East Asia Pacific 10 Six Provinces in Cambodia Partnering with International Development Enterprises (ide) to deliver WASH-SUP2 Cambodia Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Scale Up Program 2.0 installing 35,000 toilets, upgrading 15,000 dual pits and reaching an estimated 944,840 people with improved WASH services in six provinces of Cambodia. 10 Nine Provinces in Cambodia Partnering with Thrive Networks to deliver Women Led Output Based Aid (WOBA) to 30,000 households including 15,000 households of the poorest and most vulnerable in 23 districts across nine provinces of Cambodia. 11 Myanmar Partnering with Oxfam to deliver Breaking Down Barriers to Socially Inclusive Market Based Sanitation in Myanmar to benefit communities, particularly those marginalised within these communities, in some of the poorest rural states in Myanmar. 11 Myanmar Partnering with WaterAid in Supporting Safer Births in Myanmar so that women have safer births as a result of improved WASH and Infection Prevention and Control, which support quality maternal and newborn care. 12 Philippines Partnering with Oxfam to deliver Beneficiaries to Buyers: a market-based approach to inclusive and sustainable WASH in the Philippines. A project to support women and people facing marginalisation to move from being aid recipients to active sanitation participants, able to buy and sell socially inclusive WASH products/ services. 13 Indonesia Partnering with Plan International Australia to benefit over 450,000 people, including the most marginalised within communities, by delivering Wash and Beyond Transforming Lives in Eastern Indonesia. 14 Lao PDR Partnering with SNV Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV) in delivery of Beyond the Finish Line - Sustainable Sanitation and Hygiene for All to improve the health, gender equality and social inclusion and wellbeing of 200,000 people in Lao PDR. 15 Vietnam Partnering with Thrive Networks to deliver Women Led Output Based Aid (WOBA) to some of the poorest and most vulnerable people in 5 provinces of Vietnam. 16 Timor-Leste Partnering with WaterAid in delivering Beyond Inclusion: realising gender transformational change and sustainable wash systems in Timor-Leste to address the multiple dimensions of inequality in access to services. 6 Fiji Partnering with Habitat for Humanity in Strengthening community resilience and inclusion through Improved WASH services in Fiji, reaching thousands of people in 50 communities across Ra and Ba Provinces. 7 Solomon Islands Partnering with Plan International Australia in the delivery of New Times, New Targets, designed to improve WASH services, access and practice in 60 rural communities, 8 health clinics and 22 schools of western Guadalcanal Province in the Solomon Islands. 8 East Sepik, Papua New Guinea Partnering with WaterAid in delivering Inclusive WASH for Wewak, which aims to benefit more than 40,000 people in the Wewak district of East Sepik Province in Papua New Guinea. 8 Western Province, Papua New Guinea Partnering with World Vision Australia in the delivery of WASH Voices for Empowerment (WAVE) to improve access to gender and socially inclusive, sustainable WASH for 35,000 people in Western Province, Papua New Guinea. 9 Vanuatu Partnering with World Vision Australia in the delivery of Laetem Dak Kona: genderequitable and disabilityaccessible WASH to an estimated 64,000 people in Sanma and Torba provinces of Vanuatu. waterforwomenfund.org
