Certification: an international quality label FIVAPE introduced in september 2013 the creation of a specific «certification» for eliquids that becomes a guarantee for consumers on product quality as well as provide them with complete information on the consequences of nicotine consumption. Our goal here is to «demystify» eliquids and allow for the current market to stay in place while avoiding ill-intentioned and/or unsecure products. 7/10/2014 www.fivape.org 15
Certification: major goals Assure consumers that the quality of e-liquid involves rigorous quality processes which should increase confidence and consumer satisfaction Guarantee consumers the origin of eliquids as well as traceability Encourage FIVAPE members but also other producers or outsourcers to respect and adopt or develop systems that ensure the quality of their products or services. Enhance and ensure the recognition of labeled companies and thus constitute an identification tool to promote their products to improve the general quality of eliquids 7/10/2014 www.fivape.org 16
Certification: the quality label itself Eliquids eligible for this label are finished products, of which the assembly or production is either on the concerned territory (in the EU).
