Microcurrent Body Step by Step CC2000 Ultra-Visage Ultra-Visage is a Micro-current treatment for face and body contour lifting. Mains operated, Ultra-Visage features a specially designed programme, which uses pre set, timed variable wave forms during the treatment. Facial and body contour lifting is achieved by re-programming the muscle fibres. Impulses pass into the skin and underlying muscles to speed up cellular activity, regeneration and metabolism. Micro-current can shorten or relax muscle fibres, thereby lifting sagging muscles in the jaw, neck, face, breasts and upper arms, whilst reducing and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck. Circulation is also increased, improving skin tone and texture and even scar tissue on the face and body. More than just a lifting treatment, Ultra-Visage includes desincrustation and iontophoresis via active ingredients in a collagen/elastin ampoule, offering deep cleansing and penetration of product for the ultimate in facial care. Ultra-Visage is completely safe and non-invasive and is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin. Both preventative and corrective, Ultra-Visage is suitable for all ages. To achieve optimum results a course of 10 to 12 treatments is recommended, with two treatments per week. This course should be repeated once or twice a year, with one maintenance treatment per month between courses. The treatment may be used on most skin types, except hyper sensitive skin. Contraindications include epilepsy, diabetes, pregnancy, heart conditions, very high blood pressure and pace makers, skin diseases and infections, well as direct use over recent scars, bruises, varicose veins, cuts or abrasions. Step by step images: Body Microcurrent (bust and upper arm) Machine: Ultra Visage Shots 1. Application of gel to area to be treated Cleanse chest and arm area with hot towel or cleansing milk. Apply 1/2 collagen ampoule and massage lightly to aid penetration. NB the nipple area should be avoided. Apply gel to the area to be worked. Ask the client to relax their arms by their side. Set the machine to the Lifting 2 programme with the intensity on maximum, although this may be lowered depending on the client s feedback. 2. Bust (Grab movement) Hold one probe (red lead) stationary with light pressure, hold the other probe (black lead) in an opposing position on the same breast. With slight pressure nip the breast between the two. Hold this position for 10-15 seconds. Nine moves are completed in all around the breast, with each movement being completed three times.
3. Bust (Slide I movement) The probes are placed in the same position as for the Grab movement, but this time both move towards each other, lifting the breast between the two probes and applying enough pressure to lift but not to pinch. The probes should only be moved to either side of the nipple area. Each movement lasts for around 10-15 seconds. Nine moves are completed in all around the breast, with each movement being completed three times. 4. Bust (Slide II movement) (image microcurrent bust 4) Staring with the probes in an open V position, gradually move them upwards and outwards towards the top of the breast using medium to firm pressure. This movement is used in three different positions. Each movement lasts for around 10-15 seconds. Nine moves are completed in all around the breast, with each movement being completed three times. 5. Bust (Grab Movement with Arm raised) The client s arm is raised with the hand behind the head. The sequence of movements in stages 2-4 is then repeated but on the third movement allow the muscle to contract by offering resistance to the client. This is performed by placing the therapist s upper arm (under side) onto the client s upper arm (under side) and asking them to push against the therapist s arm, which is held stationary. This resistance contracts the muscle. 9 contractions are used during the treatment with each movement lasting around 10-15 seconds. Repeat the
treatment on the other breast. Remove gel with a hot sponge or towel and apply bust firming cream using a light massage to aid penetration. 6. Bicep (elbow to shoulder move) tip of electrode With a massage medium, massage the area for 2-3 minutes before the lifting treatment, one arm at a time. Remove massage medium and apply Electro-lotion to the area. Apply Ionto Gel to the area and reapply as necessary during the treatment. With arm relaxed, palm facing forward, place one electrode (red lead) flat edge on the deltoid muscle just above the armpit and hold stationary. With the tip of the other electrode (black lead), move towards the stationary electrode with medium pressure and using a rapid movement. Work from the elbow to the shoulder using approximately 10 strokes. Repeat 6 times.
7. Tricep (shoulder to elbow move) tip of electrode Place the client s arm across their chest, elbow lifted. Place one electrode (red lead) flat edge on top of the deltoid muscle and hold stationary. With the tip of the other electrode (black lead), move towards the stationary electrode with medium pressure and using a rapid movement. Work from the elbow to the shoulder using approximately 10 strokes. Repeat 6 times. 8. Bicep (2 nd move) flat electrode With the arm relaxed and palm facing forwards, place the electrode flat side either side of the muscle. Apply pressure, lift and hold for 5 seconds. Working from the elbow to the shoulder, perform 5-6 lifts. Each should be repeated 4-5 times.
9. Tricep (2 nd move) flat electrode With the arm relaxed but turned in, i.e. palm of the hand on the couch or across the client s chest, place the electrode flat side either side of the muscle. Apply pressure, lift and hold for 5 seconds. Working from the elbow to the shoulder, perform 5-6 lifts. Each should be repeated 4-5 times. The scissor movement used in stage 8 on the bicep may also be performed on the tricep by placing the electrode flat side either side of the muscle. Apply pressure, lift and hold for 5 seconds. Working from the elbow to the shoulder, perform 5-6 lifts. Each should be repeated 4-5 times. 10. Bicep (3 rd move) flat electrode With hand on hip, offering resistance and thereby creating a natural contraction, repeat the bicep move in stage 8 but using a flat electrode not the tip.
11. Tricep (3 rd move) flat electrode With hand on hip, offering resistance and thereby creating a natural contraction, repeat the tricep move in stage 9 but using a flat electrode not the tip. 12. Removal of excess gel on arm (Image arm massage) Remove excess gel and complete the treatment by massaging the area with an appropriate medium for 2-3 minutes. Repeat procedure on other arm.
