Appointment of Chiropractor

Who we are We are a renowned and award-winning Practice, where our aim is to provide the very best in professional health care by our dynamic team at a unique setting. We have a passionate ethos for not just treating pain but to also encourage people to realise their personal healthier horizon through self-management of nutritional, postural and exercise requirements. By building effective long-term relationships with our patients we support them and they trust us in what we call our: - Move Well, Eat Well and Think Well philosophy.

What we do Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession that specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and management of the nervous system and hence the overall health of the patient. It does not simply focus on the symptoms of the pain but reviews the body as a whole in order to identify the root cause of the problem. An improvement in mobility and a relief in pain through manipulation encourages the body s own natural ability to heal itself. Our highly skilled team work together in providing treatment for our patients and we are able to provide a combination of Chiropractic, rehabilitation programmes, massage therapy and reflexology treatments. This enables patients to be treated for an extensive range of conditions such as: back pain, whiplash, headache and migraine, shoulder and arm pain, leg, knee and ankle discomfort, posture correction and sports injuries.

Chiropractic Massage Therapy Rehabilitation and Exercise

Our rehabilitation specialist provides educational programmes for our patients who need assistance with a variety of problems including: poor postural alignment, sports trauma and injuries, as well as low muscle tone and weakness, balance issues or simply a desire to get back in to exercise. Our massage therapists are qualified in a range of techniques offering sports and deep-tissue massage, pre-and post-race treatments, pregnancy massage, manual lymphatic drainage as well as a signature Neal s Yard Remedies body treatment and Hopi ear candling. Our Reflexologist likes to let the feet do the talking and getting better is achieved through healing the whole: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of self. Celebrating our 10-year milestone in 2017, Creative Chiropractic has grown to encompass the principle discipline of Chiropractic, along with sports and therapeutic massage, rehabilitation and exercise programmes and Reflexology. We have a diverse and varied patient base, comprising of individuals from all walks of life and ages and from a variety of occupational backgrounds. Our goal is to work with them to improve their lifestyle.

Our Location We believe our unique location in Norfolk at the stunning Pensthorpe Natural Park, has in itself an added benefit in the treatment of our patients. With views across the fields as you approach down the driveway to the stunning outlook from the Practice, there is an air of calm and relaxation. The Park is an award-winning mix of nature trails, woodland walks and a showcase for British wildlife and nature conservation. Patients often feel inspired to get out more and explore an environment just on their doorstep, which they just never quite made it to before or it has rekindled memories of childhood visits. PPQM Award The Practice has achieved the Royal College of Chiropractors Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM) for 2017-2019. The PPQM is awarded to Practices who demonstrate through their procedures and practices how they achieve the high criteria set for meeting Patient expectations. Of the 56 applications received, we were delighted to be one of only 6 recognised as Outstanding.

Out and About We are not just confined to the Practice itself, the team like to get out and about and are encouraged to participate in local events such as the Royal Norfolk Show, offering talks for a variety of societies, schools and organisations and our massage therapists offer pre-and post-race treatments at sporting venues. For 8 years, the Practice has worked with the renowned Thursford Christmas Spectacular, providing a wide range of treatment to the cast members from dancers and singers to musicians and support staff. Role Summary This is an exciting opportunity for an additional Chiropractor to join our dynamic team where we will provide a platform to develop your skills and personal growth whilst enhancing our services. With support, guidance and by spending time with our highlyexperienced Practice Director Michael, you will build your confidence and style of patient management with the aim of becoming a senior Chiropractor. The primary goal of your role will be delivering outstanding patient care and providing patient education. You will guide and help patients along their journey, from the initial consultation though to continuing aftercare. The patients you manage will be from our existing base including referrals from the Massage and Rehabilitation Therapists, whilst also enjoying the opportunity to encourage and increase your patient referrals. The role will suit someone with a true passion for what they do, strong communication skills and an ability to connect with their patients. We enjoy our work at Creative Chiropractic so having a fun outlook on life with a positive attitude is important. Each member of the team is valued and individually recognised for their personal contribution towards maintaining our proud reputation.

Training and Development During the induction period, you will spend time with each member of the team. It is vital to have an understanding of how we all work together in providing the best patient care we can. This will also include an overview of the Practice Co-ordinator s role and how our procedures and processes work to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Practice. Additionally, there will be an induction with the team from Pensthorpe, as being based in the heart of Pensthorpe Natural Park, we have a close relationship with them and this contributes to a very positive working environment. There will be regular meetings with the Practice Director, observations of treatments and on-going support. There will be a strong focus on individual development as we support attendance of CPD and actively encourage staff to identify key areas of interest and relevant training courses to further enhance their skills.

We would anticipate the following milestones Michael I Anson, Practice Director and Senior Chiropractor, will guide and work with you. Your first 2 months -weekly reviews of patient management skills to support and address any working concerns. Develop a two-way relationship between your knowledge and Michael s 19 years of experience to continue building your patient base. Your 4 th month - demonstrate a self-motivated and positive attitude to the Practice and the Team. Generate marketing ideas, be involved with promotional planning and expand your own business attitude. Relay your ideas to the Creative Chiropractic ChiroClub, in which the team regularly meet to review and plan ongoing marketing, business management and future planning targets. Your 6 th month - Enrolment on the Royal College of Chiropractic PTS to which Michael will be your mentor and advisor. Continue to be involved in expanding the Practice through tried and tested marketing exercises to help accelerate the growth of your patient base. You will have completed the probation period.
