Home From the Home Screen you can access all applications of the NEO device. Make your choice by touching the icon CPS = Clinical Protocol Setup 2 2
Electrotherapy To begin an electrotherapy treatment, touch the Electrotherapy icon on the home screen and then choose the desired waveform group. Choose the desired waveform by touching the specific waveform icon. Touch the Home icon to return to the Home Screen where you can begin a new treatment or choose a different modality. Touch the Back icon to return to the previous screen. 3 3
Electrotherapy After choosing a waveform the Treatment Review page will appear. Inside the electrotherapy box will be the default parameters for the chosen waveform. To adjust the parameters, touch the customize icon. From the Treatment Edit screen you can adjust any and all parameters and you can save the created protocol. Touch the specific parameter icon to create the desired changes. 4 4
Electrotherapy Neo provides suggestions for electrode placement, care and utilization. Touch the guidelines icon, then select the body part. 5 5
Save a Protocol Neo gives you the ability to name and save 200 protocols to the device. You can Save from the Treatment Edit screen ( save icon) or from the Treatment Review screen ( Save Protocol button). From this screen you can overwrite an existing protocol or name and save a new protocol. 6 6
Retrieve a Saved Protocol From the Home Screen touch the Custom Protocol icon. Highlight the saved protocol to be accessed by touching the up/down icons, then touch the accept icon. Begin the treatment. 7 7
Clinical Protocol Set Up (CPS) Touch the CPS icon from the home screen. Select the body part you wish to treat. 8 8
Clinical Protocol Set Up (CPS) Highlight the Treatment Objective OR Indication to be accessed by touching the up/down icons, then touch the accept icon. Select the specific condition by highlighting it and then touching the accept icon. Treatment Objectives are common throughout all body parts Indications are specific to the selected body part 9 9
Clinical Protocol Set Up (CPS) Touch the desired modality and an evidence based protocol will be displayed. 10 10
Clinical Protocol Set Up (CPS) Touch the guidelines icon to view the treatment rationale, clinical evidence and intensity & electrode placement guidelines. Touch the modality description icon to view more info on the waveform. 11 11
Ultrasound From the home screen touch the Ultrasound icon and the Ultrasound Treatment Review screen will appear. To change the preset parameters touch the customize icon to create the desired protocol. 12 12
Combination To perform a combination treatment touch the Combo icon on the Home Screen. Then touch the desired electrotherapy waveform to be used with the ultrasound. Touch the electrotherapy customize icon to set the desired parameters, turn up the amplitude to achieve the desired physiological response, press the Start Button. Touch the ultrasound customize icon to set the desired parameters, turn up the intensity on the ultrasound. 13 13
semg and semg +Stim To begin an semg treatment touch the semg with desired channel(s) icon on the Home Screen and the semg Menu screen will appear. From this screen you can manipulate the screen display. Touch the customize icon to set the parameters of the treatment. 14 14
semg and semg +Stim Touch the semg+stim icon with the desired waveform on the home screen and the semg+stim display will appear. From this screen you can manipulate the screen display. Touch the customize icon to set the parameters of the treatment. 15 15
Laser From the Home Screen touch the Laser icon. Enter the 4 digit PIN (1111 is the factory setting). From this screen you can set the desired dosage and treatment time. When setting a dosage, Neo will automatically calculate the corresponding treatment time and vice versa. 16 16
Laser To change the parameters touch the customize icon. There is a fine tune and a quick set option to set the frequency. 17 17
Assign Protocol Shortcut Protocols that are commonly used may be assigned to the Home Screen. Touch one of the 5 Assign Shortcut icons. Highlight the protocol to be assigned to the Home Screen and touch the accept icon. 18 18
Monitoring Treatments The unit allows the clinician to treat multiple patients at the same time. The status of each patient is displayed at the bottom of each screen display. To stop, pause, or change parameters for a specific patient simply touch the channel at the bottom of the screen display. 19 19
Anatomical Library Neo has an Anatomical Library that will display anatomical and pathological images. Touch the Anatomical Library icon on the home screen and then touch the body part. Highlight the desired anatomical or pathological image to be viewed then touch the accept icon to view the image. 20 20
Anatomical Library The comprehensive Anatomical Library holds detailed instructive images on anatomy and pathology. Example of an anatomical image: shoulder extrinsic musculature anterior view. Example of a pathological image: shoulder rotator cuff tear 21 21
Save Patient Data Treatment data may be saved to a USB flash drive. This data may be retrieved from the unit or a computer. Electrode placement and pain information may be saved. 22 22
Save Patient Data Pain information before and after treatment may be saved. Touch the up/down icons to indicate the pain level on a visual analogue pain scale (VAS) from 0 (no pain) to 10 (worst pain imaginable). Touch Edit Patient ID and type in the patient s name. Then touch the save icon. 23 23
Retrieve Patient Data Insert the USB Flash Drive into the unit and touch the Patient Data icon on the Home screen. Highlight the patient name then touch the accept icon. Highlight the treatment date to be retrieved. Then touch the accept icon. 24 24
Retrieve Patient Data The summary of the retrieved treatment will appear. Touch Run this Treatment to begin a new treatment session. 25 25
Utilities Touch the Utilities icon to access the Settings for the unit. 26 26
