To all School Food Service Professionals: The New Jersey School Nutrition Association is proud to offer another great conference on Thursday and Friday, November 10 & 11, 2016 at the Tropicana in Atlantic City! The opening session is at 2:00 PM on November 10 th, with two earlier workshop classes and the SNA credentialing exam being held at 9 AM. This two day conference is packed full of training choices that will help you earn those professional development hours - and provide tips and information that will assist you in running the most successful school nutrition programs possible! You'll also hear from USDA and NJ Department of Agriculture officials to get important updates on the child nutrition programs. In addition to workshops, you'll have the opportunity to visit our industry partners at the show exhibits and be educated on the latest and greatest products for your programs. Included will be a wonderful reception on Thursday evening and a great time to network with your peers! All of the above is available to School Nutrition Association (SNA) members for only $119.00 - AND, a hotel room for Thursday night, November 10th is included, also!! The deadline for this great rate is September 30, 2016. Once again, NJ SNA is applying to the NJ Department of Education to seek a waiver for our conference, to their overnight in-state travel restrictions. NOTE: The last date to get the hotel room included with the registration fee is October 17, 2016. To make reservations at the Tropicana for other nights during the conference than what is included with the registration fee, call 800-247-8767 and let them know it is for the NJ School Nutrition Association Conference in order to get discounted rates. Non-SNA members are more than welcome to join us at the conference as well, but the registration fees will be higher. By signing up to become a SNA member before
the conference, you can receive the member registration rate...click here to join SNA online. Or, the membership application can be downloaded at this link, and payment mailed in to SNA at their Baltimore, MD address at the bottom of the application form.
