This conference is designed to review current practices in the prevention, recognition of concussions, and management of sportrelated concussions. The conference will benefit health care professionals involved in all levels of care and training, as well as athletes, coaches, and parents. Define sport-related concussion and discuss its causes, risk factors, signs and symptoms; 2. Identify closed head injury subtypes & their neurocognitive sequelae; 3. Identify national & local trends involving closed head injury services; 4. Describe the mission of the s Multidisciplinary Concussion Program (MDCP); 5.
