PSYCHOLOGY UNDERSTANDING BRAIN AND BEHAVIOUR

PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAM DISC O VER WHY WE ARE WHO WE ARE PSYCHOLOGY IS THE STUDY OF THE BRAIN, BEHAVIOUR, AND THE MIND. WE EXPLORE QUESTIONS RELATED TO MEMORY AND ATTENTION, LEARNING, SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS, HUMAN DEVELOPMENT, LANGUAGE, AND MENTAL HEALTH. Understanding how and why humans communicate, relate, and interact is essential for effective Leadership with Heart in any field. Our world demands leaders who are able to understand how we can work together to achieve our common goals. At Huron, we are unique among undergraduate programs because students gain experience conducting psychological research in their first year. This practical and active research focus is maintained throughout the program, providing excellent preparation for any career path or further studies in Psychology. JUSTINE ALBERT YEAR 3, PSYCHOLOGY HELLMUTH SCHOLAR Hometown: White Rock, B.C. I chose Psychology at Huron because, in high school, I could never decide between science and arts. My interest really lies in the arts, but Psychology at Huron is so well-rounded. I ve always been interested in human interactions so this was the perfect fit.
