AWARDS SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS ABOUT THE AAC APPRENTICESHIP AWARDS? The FE Week & AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards are the national awards for apprentice employers and providers in the UK. The inaugural awards took place in March 2018 and over 350 nominations were received. Following such a positive engagement in year one we have expanded the number of national categories and have included all 15 routes in the route apprenticeship provide of the year awards for 2019. Award winners will be announced at two national events. The route award winners and regional winners of national awards will be announced at a Parliamentary reception. This will take place at the Houses of Parliament on Monday 4th March 2019. The reception will be hosted by the former skills minister and current Chair of the Education Select Committee the Rt Hon. Robert Halfon MP. The national awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 28 March at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference Gala Dinner & Awards Evening. National Awards Award Sponsor 7,500 per award Promoting Apprenticeships campaign of the year This award recognises outstanding activity during the year to promote apprenticeships. The targeted audience for this activity or campaign in this award is broad, however, the judges would be particularly interested in campaigns that demonstrate good practice or innovation in promoting apprenticeships within schools and/or in the provision of information, advice and guidance to groups that would not otherwise have considered apprenticeships. Apprenticeship Diversity Award This award recognises apprentice employers and/or providers who ve made an outstanding effort to increase the diversity of apprentices they work with. This award focusses on those organisations who can evidence a commitment to increasing their efforts to recruit a diverse workforce and demonstrate positive results. This award covers age, disability, gender, LGBT, race, religion & faith. SEND Apprenticeship Champion Award This award recognises the efforts of apprentice employers and/or providers who are committed to providing apprenticeship opportunities for people with special and additional educational needs and disabilities. Outstanding contribution to the development of apprenticeships (individual) This award recognises the outstanding contribution of an individual to the development of apprenticeships. This could be from any perspective, local to national, subject-specific to sector-wide. Outstanding contribution to the development of apprenticeships (employer) This award recognises the outstanding contribution of an employer to the development of apprenticeships. This could be from any perspective, local to national, subject-specific to sector-wide. Outstanding contribution to the development of apprenticeships (provider) This award recognises the outstanding contribution of a provider to the development of apprenticeships. This could be from any perspective, local to national, subject-specific to sector-wide. Apprenticeship Provider of the year This award will recognise excellence in the delivery of apprenticeships from a single provider. It is open to all types of apprenticeship provider, not limited to the sectors covered by the subject awards. Apprentice Employer of the Year This award recognises outstanding commitment to apprentices and apprenticeships within an organisation. It is open to employers from all sectors and all sizes. For these awards, we are seeking one sponsor for each. Sponsors will receive the following: Two guest tickets to the regional parliamentary reception.
