K2 Adventures Foundation Fundraiser: MounTimPossible K2 Adventures Foundation is a qualified 501(c)(3) audited non-profit organization whose mission is to provide care for children, adults and families with special needs and or life changing medical circumstances by providing services, support and funds that they can use for educational and medical enrichment. What is MounTimPossible? On May 22 nd, 2017, an incredible team will be setting out on a life changing mission to climb the highest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Although making the summit of this mountain would be an amazing feat for anybody, for 22-year-old Timothy Conners, it is going to mean so much more, not only for him, but the world. At 15 years old, a deathly diagnosis of cancer would take so much away from Tim including his ability to walk, but even more than that, his sight. Despite his life circumstances, Tim has continued to fight back against all odds in his life including an experience of heart, lung, and kidney failure that almost took him from this world, and now he wants to give back. Even though Tim is still dealing with issues today from everything he experienced at such a young age, including neuropathy in his legs, he wants to continue fighting his uphill battle in life, and that next battle is what we are calling MounTimPossible, which not only involves conquering a mountain, but Tim s goal of raising $500,000 for the organizations that have

contributed greatly to his success, and he knows in his heart can do the same for others too. MounTimPossible is a journey that will make a great impact for those who have a disability or life changing medical circumstance in the United States and around the world, but Tim chooses to see an even greater impact that can come from this opportunity. He says, what he is doing isn t just about climbing a mountain, it is about living life to the fullest, making a difference in the world, and redefining what people perceive as possible. Also, Tim realizes what he has set out to do is a large feat between the training, the fundraising, and balancing his senior year of college, but his optimism cuts through all doubt, and he knows people will come to have his back and support him to realize his dream of redefining possible. Together with Tim we are going to move mountains, and when we do, we want you to be there with us, because nothing great ever accomplished was ever achieved by someone on their own, and like the name of this project suggests, this mission is TimPossible! Changing Lives One Adventure at a Time Motivated by the belief that time in the outdoors eases the disability, K2 Adventures Foundation has created an opportunity for individuals to build community and reconnect with the outdoors. With the help of programs like Mount impossible, individuals with disabilities continue to reach different potentials than they ever thought possible and find strength to move forward. MounTimPossible will provide an opportunity for you to experience camaraderie and a sense of belonging while also contributing to ongoing development efforts in Moshi, Tanzania. The team will not only climb a peak, but will also spend two days working at The Mwereni Integrated School for the Blind. Being part of any society is tough, being blind makes it even harder. More than 600 students, ages 5 through 17, attend the Mwereni Integrated School for the Blind. This includes 80 blind and albino children who were orphaned or abandoned at birth. Tim s climb is not just about

Tim but also about Hope that each one of these children will See and Feel when they meet Tim and follow his adventure up Kilimanjaro. How can you help? By getting involved with MounTimPossible you can show your support for those who have a disability, show your support for those who don t let their life circumstances dictate their lives, and, ultimately, show your support for Tim s greater mission to redefine for the world what is perceived as possible. This event will showcase the abilities, talent, dedication and drive that those with disabilities possess and we d like you to be a part of it! Here are some ways you can contribute: 1. Support this climb with a donation to MounTimPossible through K2 Adventures Foundation. Tim s primary wish is to make a difference in others lives, which he knows these organizations can do with the money raised. Closing Words From Cancer Survivor & Blind Adventurer, Timothy Conners My mission is to inspire others to live their lives to the fullest. After my life changed drastically at 15 years old from a diagnosis of T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, which would eventually go on to take my sight, I learned firsthand we can t take anything for granted. I also learned that even though we can t control some of the things that happen to us in our lives, we have all the power in our hands to live the lives we want (or choose). Taking these lessons to heart, I have managed to go on to accomplish many feats such as a trek through the Grand Canyon, and I know with the right mindset the sky is the limit. Although accomplishing goals I set out on provides me with immense satisfaction, what truly makes me happy is when I can use my story to inspire others to do incredible things. If there is one thing I hope people get out of my story, it is that no matter what barriers lie in your way, with the right mindset NOTHING can stop you. I believe we can move mountains, if we move them together.

See you at the top! Want to help me move mountains and be part of making the impossible, possible?
