Temperomandibular joint diseases especially non surgical or conservative clinical management. Oral diseases in HIV/AIDS as diagnostic and prognostic indicators of systemic dissemination. Jaw cysts and odontogenic tumours and cement-osseous lesions. Newer techniques in diagnostic pathology. This entailed obtaining laboratory equipment from London, UK, facilitated by the British Council. This equipment still constitutes the core of laboratory services at the Dental School Currently formulating modalities for setting up biotechnology research unit at the Dental school and Hospital within the Division of Oral Medicine and Pathology.
