In addition to being involved in your own care or treatment, or that of the person you care for, the following opportunities for involvement exist. If you decide to become involved you are eligible to claim out of pocket expenses. Opportunity for BHSCT Board Meetings The Trust Board holds approximately six meetings in public each year. Details of the Board members, the meeting dates and Board Minutes are available at www.belfasttrust.hscni.net/about/trust Structure.htm The DHSS&PS appoints non-executive directors, with the approval of the Minister for Health, Social services and Public Safety. Looked After Child and Care Experienced (LACCE) Youth Forum This is a co-production engagement initiative with service users to explore innovative, safe, effective and responsive services for young people. This group is open to service users who are looked after children aged 16 and over and care experienced young people who have left care.
