Winners will receive recognition and be eligible for entrance into the national competition held during Internal Medicine Meeting 2019. Selected abstracts will be presented at the Vermont ACP meeting as a poster. At the Vermont ACP meeting, judges will choose a winning poster in each category. The winners will receive support to attend and present at the ACP Internal Medicine Meeting on April 11 13, 2019, in Philadelphia, PA. The deadline to submit an abstract is August 31. The submitting resident will be notified of acceptance by September 17. Abstracts can be submitted in Word or PDF format by e-mail to Allen Repp, MD, at Allen.Repp@uvmhealth.org. Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to: Apply updated knowledge of coagulation controversies and management of common pulmonary disorders to clinical practice. Improve clinical practice by incorporating major new developments in evidence-based treatment in medical marijuana and screening and prevention of chronic diseases. Understand recent advances in hospital medicine and clinical reasoning for clinicians. Diagnose and manage, screen, and prevent common pulmonary disorders. Increase confidence in performing screening and prevention of chronic diseases and in managing pulmonary disorders. Who should attend?
