In 2017, the ACLU was one of the grand marshals. Over 400 supporters RSVP d to march with us and we received copious positive attention from the crowds. An annual panel event and reception offering a comprehensive assessment and legal analysis of the political landscape, our legal strategies, and the U.S. Supreme Court s cases that affect civil liberties, many of which the ACLU is involved in. In 2017, we held the event at Fordham Law School and introduced the new Legal Director of the ACLU, David Cole, who is a respected lawyer and public intellectual.
