OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Place the desired massage attachment on the stem of the massager. The attachments easily press on and pull off. 2. Slide the switch to the desired massaging speed - l-low for soothing massage. ll-high for vigorous, deep penetrating action. 3. Apply the massager to the targeted area, using continual movement. A circular motion is often most affective. (See MASSAGE TECHNIQUES.) TROUBLESHOOTING If your massager fails to operate when switched ON check your batteries to see if they are properly installed. Positive end should be located as shown in the battery housing. Make sure the switch is in the ON position. If it still does not operate, your batteries have probably exceeded their useful life. To maximise battery life, replace both AA batteries at the same time. BATTERY REPLACEMENT When the massager s strength becomes weak, the battery needs to be replaced. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (NI-Cad, NiMH, etc) batteries. 1. Press on the key and pry off the battery cover (Fig. 1). 2. Remove the batteries and insert two new AA batteries. Make sure the left battery has the positive end up and the right battery has the positive end down (Fig. 2). 3. Replace the battery cover by inserting the bottom of the cover first, then pressing on the upper part. 8

Key Fig. 1 Fig. 2 Fig. 3 CLEANING AND STORAGE IMPORTANT: If the unit is going to be stored for a long period of time, be sure to remove the batteries. To clean the unit, simply wipe the unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not immerse in water or use any harsh cleaners or solvents. CHANGING ATTACHMENTS To remove an attachment head, use your thumb and two fingers, and pull away from the massager stem.
