Event Information: The Hope for Casino Night is the largest charity event benefiting congenital heart defects (CHD) in Washington, D.C. The 9th Annual Hope for Casino Night is sure to be our best event yet. We will bring together over 300 supporters, sponsors and family members of those affected by congenital heart defects for an evening of great food and drink, dancing and exciting casino action! Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hope Marietta Foundation in our efforts to create CHD awareness and to help area families who are affected by the country s most common birth defect. Your support will brighten the lives of the children fighting congenital heart defects every day. In addition to helping the Hope Marietta Foundation fight congenital heart defects, Hope for Casino Night supporters will be recognized on our Facebook page of over 1,400 fans, direct mailing list of 2,100 supporters and recognition on all event marketing materials. Past events have received coverage from TBD TV, the Washington Examiner and Bisnow s The Scene. The Foundation: The Hope Marietta Foundation was founded in 2009 in memory of Hope Marietta Armiger who passed away shortly after birth as a result of complex congenital heart defects. ABOUT THE HOPE MARIETTA FOUNDATION The Hope Marietta Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, formed to raise funds and awareness for congenital heart defects as well as to assist and support the families and victims of the most common children s birth defect in America. KING & QUEEN OF Isa - Queen of Our Queen of this year is Miss Isa Bradley. This amazing five-year old girl was born with multiple complex congenital heart defects and has endured three open heart surgeries. But Isa doesn t let that slow her down. On she goes with a sparkling smile and boundless energy. Isa loves to play pretend, and spending time on the playground or at the putt-putt course. Her smile says it all; she s a fighter and an inspiration, and that s why she s our Queen of. Parker - King of This year s King of is Parker Lovingood. Having spent nearly two months in the hospital undergoing two open heart surgeries before his first birthday, he has a toughness only found in a King. Living a happy life with multiple heart defects, he spends his days playing with his twin brother Grayson and his older sister, Abby, building forts to hide in, playing with Legos, and being outdoors.
