It is my pleasure. If anyone wishes to place a motion on the June Agenda it should be received by me by next Wednesday, May 20, 2015, by 12 o clock noon. Our office manager was out sick for several days recently. Thankfully he is feeling much better. I wanted to thank our volunteers who stood in and kept the office open while he was out. Specifically Artie, Len, Nancy, Mike and Nick deserve our appreciation. The International Convention is coming up in early July in Atlanta. Ed is planning on attending the convention. Because of this the office will be open shortened hours July 1, 2 and 3. Office hours will be 10 am to 4 pm. The office will be closed on July 4 for the holiday. Again our office volunteers deserve our gratitude. Tonight we will continue our elections for Trusted Servants. Officers and Advisory Committee Members will serve a 2 year term and Committee Chairperson s and Liaison s will serve a 1 year term. We will use the Third Legacy Process, which I will explain before we begin the selection process. Tonight, Jim Lean from the General Service District has joined us with an announcement of their upcoming Founders Day Dinner. In service, Mark H., PBC Intergroup Chairperson Jim then announced that the Founder s Day Dinner will be at the Finland House, 301 W Central Blvd., Lantana on June 20, 2015; Coffee at 6:00; Dinner at 6:30 pm; Meeting at 8:00 pm. Bring a dessert. Tickets are $10 and available through your GSR. For more information visit www.district8area15aa.org.

Alternate Chair: Vacant Treasurer: Deb M Reports are attached. The reports are clear and there were no questions. Overall, again, Intergroup finances are strong. Basket passed in accordance with our 7 th Tradition Secretary: Deb filling in for Scott M - Thank you to all who have turned in your reports; if you have not please get it to me by early Thursday evening so I have time to put the minutes into final form for submission to the Chair and the Registrar. It is suggested that all new representatives and alternate representatives go to the Palm Beach County Intergroup website (aa-palmbeachcounty.org) and view the Home page, tab About Intergroup and read the by-laws all of which are on the website. Additionally, we have a hard copy packet that contains much useful information on your role as an Intergroup Representative. Registrar: Roger B The minutes and agenda were e-mailed to the database upon receipt from the Chair, as per the By-Laws of PBC Intergroup. The database was updated after the last Intergroup Meeting. Any new Group Reps, Alternate Reps, or newly elected Committee Chairs/Officers, please complete a yellow information card and hand to the Secretary. Thanks, Roger B. Intergroup Registrar Office Manager: Ed B The Office activity for April was 754. This was 23 more than last month but 34 less than last year. Most of the decline was in the area of visitors to the Office & requests for meeting information. Everything else was more or less unchanged. The Intergroup Office will be closed Monday, May 25 th for Memorial Day; otherwise the Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5, and on Saturday from 9:30 to 1:30. All of the Office Volunteer shifts are currently filled. Thank you for making announcements about the openings. In love & service, Ed B General Service/Intergroup Liaison: Ed W - Dist. 8 held their last meeting on Apr. 12 th and the next meeting is this Sunday, the 17 th. Committee elections are still ongoing and the following positions were filled: Archives-Scott S; Grapevine- Cathy M; Traditions/Concepts-Christian M; DCM for sub-district 9-Samir.Open committees are Institutions and 9 DCM/ACM positions. A new motion to pay the Triangle club an additional $30.00 for the March 8 th meeting due to extended time passed. Motion 1. To add $2500.00 to the Founders day dinner and move it to the

S.Fla fairgrounds failed. Motions 2 & 3 were tied to Motion 1 and subsequently failed. Motion 4 to have the Founders Day dinner at the Finland House on June 20 th passed. Motion 5. To have the delegates Report Luncheon (Triangle Club June 14 th ) be a potluck passed. Before the Elections and motions being heard the GSR share was on the topic of other drugs than alcohol being spoken about at meetings and as you can imagine there were many various opinions but Old timer experience came to the conclusion we as a body should be more understanding of the plight of those who suffer from more than just alcohol.
