Course Objectives 1. Participant should be able to discern between deceptive, unethical practice of Cosmetic-Plastic Gynecology (CPG) and non-deceptive, ethical CPG practice within ACOG s recommendations. 2. Participant should understand the basic principles of CPG in terms of patient selection, pre- and post-op care, types of anesthesia, suture technique, wound healing, scar minimization 3. Participant will have a better understanding of gross and functional anatomy of the vulvovaginal structures including labia majora, labia minora, clitoral frenulum, clitoral prepuce, vagina and perineum and G-spot as it relates to CPG 4. Participant should understand the causes of the acquired sensation of wide vagina and the acquired sensation of smooth vagina 5. Participant should be able to recognize and understand the multiple surgical plastic interventions for Vaginal Rejuvenation including G-Spotplasty, Posterior Perineoplasty, Vaginal Introitoplasty, Perineal Body Reconstruction, Hymeneal Plate, Hymeneal Ring and Hymeneal Membrane Reconstruction, and Anterior/Posterior Commissuroplasty 6. Participant should be familiar with the non-surgical options for Vaginal Rejuvenation, and better understand the differences between radiofrequency and lasers, the use of fillers and Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) 7. Participant should be able to recognize the multiple surgical techniques for Labia Minora Labiaplasty 8. Participant should be able to understand new surgical plastic and cosmetic interventions for Labia Minora, Labia Majora, Clitoral Frenulum, Clitoral Prepuce (Central and Lateral Hood), Anterior and Posterior Commissures 9. Participant should have a sense of the marketing tools available to help improve practice visibility and volume 10. Participant should be familiar with multiple validated questionnaires that can be utilized to assess patients before and after surgery/procedures 11. Participant should understand the importance of documentation of signs and symptoms, the patient s specific desires, review of risks and complications, alternatives to selected treatment(s), understanding appropriate expectations, and informed consent and what that includes.
