Unit of VIVA College had conducted and organized various activities and programs are as follows: 1. NSS Orientation Program. Date: 15 th July, 2012. Speaker: Prof. G.Y.Shikhare, Mr. Subhash Dalvi No. of participants Students: 250. Students get aware about NSS unit, its activity, rules and regulation, discipline and enrolled for college NSS unit. Group formation and task was given for various groups. 2. Tree Plantation at Shirgaon in association with Forest Department, Virar. Date: 21 th July, 2012. Chief Guest: Mr. Mukane Saheb, Forest Officer, Virar region. No. of Participants: 210 2

To create awareness and to plant the trees all volunteers work together and planted 95 plantlets. 3. 1st Blood Donation Drive. Date: 3 rd Aug, 2012. Guest: Mr. Gare Sir, Mr. Pawar Sir, Mr. Paste Sir. No. of Participants: 50 Volunteers. NSS in association with Nair Blood Bank and Sarala Blood Bank organized Blood Donation Drive. There were huge response and two blood banks were obtained the 258 blood units. 4. Consumer Guidance. Date: 13 th Aug, 2012 Guest: Mr. Gajanan Patil and Mr. Mishra. No of participants: 250 volunteers NSS unit in association with consumer cooperative society organized seminar on Consumer guidance lecture as well as How to be smart Investor. 3

5. Independence Day celebration. Date: 15 th Aug, 2012. Guest: Hon Shri Hintendra Thakur. No of participants: 250 Volunteers. 4

Entire NSS unit along with ex NSS Volunteers were gathered together to celebrate Independence Day of India. After that Volunteers sang the Patriotic songs and cheer up the movement 5. Sadbhavna Day Celebration. Date: 20 th Aug, 2012. Guest: Principal Dr. R.D. Bhagat. No of Participants: 98 Volunteers. We arrange Poster Competition for the college students with the theme of Communal Harmony and 149 college students were participated. 6. Teacher s Day Celebration. Date: 5 th Sept, 2012. Guest: Coordinator K.P.N. Kutty. No of participants: 105 Volunteers. According to group we distributed card paper for hand made greetings cards. Team collected all hand made greeting cards and conducted Guru Vandana to show our gratitude towards the all teachers and take their blessings. Also offer the Rose and Hand made Cards. 7. International Literacy Day. Date: 8 th Sept, 2012. Guest: Principal Dr. R.D. Bhagat. No of participants: 10. We conducted short session for the class 4 employees of college and discuss the importance of education. Also we obtained information of their house and children. We motivate their minds to send their children in school for education. 8. Book Distibution. Date: 8 th Sept, 2012. 5

No of participants: 6. Our Unit distributes 800 note book which was prepared from wastage paper. This note book distributed in Chinchole Ashramshala, Dahanu. 9. NSS Day. Date: 24 th Sept, 2012. Guest: Principal Dr. R.D. Bhagat No of participants: 250 volunteers. NSS unit celebrated NSS Day by flag hosting our NCC cadet organized the parade on that date. And we also were arranging Lecture on Leadership Development and Self Motivation. 10. Swacchata Abhiyan. Date: 30 th Sept, 2012 Guest: Mayor of VVMC Shri. Rajiv Patil. No of participants: 135 volunteers NSS unit cleaned 4 lake in Virar after completing the Ganesh Visarjan as well ae our NSS Volunteer also volunteering on the 1.5 th day, 5 th day, 7 th day and 11 th day. 11. National Vasai Virar Marathon. Date: 14 th Oct, 2012. Guest: Mayor Shri. Rajiv Patil, MLA Shri. Kshitij Thakur, MP Shri. Baliram Jadhav, Mr. Ritesh Deshymukh and many more actors and actoress. No of participants: 250 volunteers NSS unit handale tha all the crowd during the marathon as well as they also handle medical camps during the rout of the marathon 12. Jivdani Temple Navratri Utsav. Date: 16 th to 24 th Oct, 2012. No of participants: 250 Volunteers. NSS unit send their 40 volunteer daily on Jivdani temple for volunteering. There was huge crowed in the temple around 2,00,000 visitors per day. 13. Residential Camp Pre Camp Visit. Date: 29 th Oct, 2012. Program Officer and 5 volunteers visited the camp site Bhatane, to survey for arrangement of Residential Camp. 14. Residnetial Camp. Date: 21 rd to 26 th Nov, 2013. No of participants: 125 Volunteers. We organized 7-days residential camp at Village Bhatane. 6

15. AIDS Awareness Camping. Date: 1 St Dec, 2013. No of participants: 185 Volunteers. We arrange Rally and Banners with Slogans to create awareness regarding AIDS disease. 7

16. BLOOD DONATION DRIVE Date: 9 th Jan, 2013 Guest: Mr. Gare Sir, Mr. Pawar Sir, Mr. Paste Sir No. of participents : 150 Volunteers. We make a Banners with Slogans to create awareness regarding Blood donation. NSS in association with Nair Blood Bank and Sarala Blood Bank organized Blood Donation Drive. There were huge response and two blood banks were obtained the 258 blood units. 17. Yuva Diwas Date : 12 Jan. 2013 8

No. of Participents : 50 Volunteers We celebrate Yuva Diwas in Mumbai Univercity in Santacruze. Different college students are come together and celebrate Yuva Diwas. DAY 2 (11 th January 2013) Venue: COLLEGE GYMKHANA 9.00 am to 9.30 am Breakfast and Attendance 9.30 am to 12.00 noon Session II By Swami Vivekanand Organization 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm Lunch 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm Session II By Art of Living Organization Topic- Leading Others Faculty: Mr. Amol Wagle, International Teacher DAY 3 (12 th January 2013) Venue: University of Mumbai, Kalina Campus, Santacruz (E), Mumbai. 9.00 am TO 4.00 pm Interactive sessions with dignitaries from media, education and politics IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS 1. Attendance is compulsory on all the three days. 2. Participants should be present from the beginning of the programme till the end of the programme on all the days. 3. Wearing college identity card is compulsory. 4. The college will make arrangements for to and fro travel of all the participants and their 2 teachers ONLY on 12 th January 2013. 5. Participants are supposed to be on time to carry out the programme as per the schedule. 6. Two students will be awarded as Mr. Leader and Miss Leader on the basis of their overall performance during the two days by the faculties. Decision of the faculties will be final and binding. 17. Republic Day celebration. Day: 26 th Jan 2014 Guest: Hon Shri Hintendra Thakur. 18. Voting Card Activities 10
