Connect Every Monday night at Exodus, EYW opens its doors to a night of complete honesty and freedom of speech. This is a night of thought provoking discussions, amusing activities and nail-biting debates on controversial social issues. We also have special guests sharing their personal stories of hardships and triumphs. If you are outspoken and love to vent, or even if you are a quiet observer, come join us. Doors open at 7pm for food and the meeting starts at 8.00pm. info@

iworx iworx is an employment training program providing young people with mentorship and guidance in the pursuit of employment. By teaching varied skills via workplace simulation and ethics in the workplace, a young person is equipped with the confidence and the abilities to become employable. Upon completion of the individual s engagement with the program, a professional CV will be created and assistance in seeking employment is provided. info@

LifeWorx LifeWorx is a schools based, early intervention program aimed at providing guidance and mentorship to students. Delivered to schools across metro Sydney, LifeWorx is based on empowering the individual; identifying and developing their life goals, breaking down sets of smaller achievable actions, building pathways to reach these goals, and instilling the belief they can achieve this. info@

The Arts Open Art Workshop In Open Workshop, everyone is welcome. This group allows people to express themselves through the variety of mediums and skills offered such as jewellery making, t-shirt printing, book binding and soap and candle making amongst other techniques. EYW runs this program with a firm belief in creative therapy to enrich cultural value within the community. Open Workshop encourages individuals to embrace their artistic expression by providing a supportive environment that is free of judgement. Big Screen Everyone loves a movie. Sunday nights are dedicated to movies and discussion. World movies, series and movies that make you laugh, cry and reflect. It s a chilled night with good company, popcorn and its free! 6pm start. XO Records This initiative is more than just a recording studio- it is an empowerment studio especially for those who may be socially isolated. XO records allows young people to communicate their story through the popular medium of music in a healthy and nurturing environment. Using lyrics and a beat, young people are able to start a process of healing that is interchangeable and relatable. info@

Support Group Let's Talk is a support group for young people under 17 years old that are disengaged, experiencing anxiety, depression, family issues and domestic violence. Let's Talk's main focus is to gather young people who are experiencing similar issues, and allow them a safe place to discuss their feelings and thoughts. info@

Spirituality Every Tuesday night at Exodus, the community gets together to share thoughts in the Christian faith. This group serves as a judgment-free environment where people can openly discuss challenges they are facing. Bible Study is a group where everyone is invited to speak, share, pray and encourage others though life s journey. Doors open at 7pm, meeting starts at 7.30 info@

Recreation Recreation programs vary from going to the theatre, movies, group cooking classes and sporting activities and events in order to allow the community to meet, socialise and have fun together outside of the centre. EYW uses community outings as a way to strengthen support and give respite to young people who are experiencing difficulties in life. info@

Gender, Identity & Sexuality The S.I.G. program has been established to facilitate, support and serve as a platform for young people to explore and discover who they are. Our aim is to foster a sense of community in a safe environment with open and accepting members. info@

New Arrivals The New Arrivals program is for migrants and refugees that have recently arrived in Australia to receive settlement services. EYW understands that migrating to another country can be difficult especially when there is a language barrier. As such, the New Arrivals program aims to be of assistance and support in different aspects of settlement. Areas of support include but are not limited to: psychology, counselling, printing and lodging application forms for various licences and benefits, assistance with housing and furniture, as well as employment opportunities. info@

Travel With a Purpose For any community development Project to be effective, it has to be wide-ranging and transformative for everyone involved. EYW takes groups of people from Australia overseas for a Travel With a Purpose experience where they can immerse themselves in the local community, exchange experiences, and engage with EYW s Community Development projects. This incredible experience widens any person s worldview and allows them to participate in another culture as well as sharing their own lives with others in another country. info@
