CONSTRUCTIVISM VERSUS COGNITIV-COMPORTAMENTAL ÎN DEZVOLTAREA PROGRAMELOR DE INSTRUIRE ONLINE Nicolae Jurcău 1, Andreea Calboreanu 2, Gheorghe-Florin Trif 3 Online learning is one of the most debated subjects in the educational field. New question are raised every day about how its efficiency could be improved. In this article we compare two modalities of online instruction design anchored in two of the most influential paradigms of learning: constructivism and cogntitiv-behaviourist. We applied two modules for online learning on 60 students who studied Educational Psychology at Technical University. For evaluation we used tests and case studies. The constructivist group outperformed the other group at case studies, while test results proved to be equally distributed. The reasons behind this result are: depth processing, better intrinsic motivation, free navigation access. Discussion and directions for further research are provided in the final part of the paper. POINT OF VIEW ABOUT DAVID MYERS THE FUNDS, FRIENDS, AND FAITH OF HAPPY PEOPLE Zsuzsanna Szabo 5 What makes people happy? Why is someone happy? Are there the external or the internal causes important when we talk about someone's happiness? Is it wealth, our friends, or our faith that gives us happiness? What motivates us to strive for happiness, and the relationship between our motivation and our happiness is the topic of my comments on Myers' article using a perspective of McClelland's theory of motivation. PSIHOTERAPIA EXPERENŢIALĂ ÎN CAZUL COPIILOR CU HIPERACTIVITATE ŞI DEFICIT DE ATENŢIE Geanina Cucu-Ciuhan 6 This study proves that experiential psychotherapy has a beneficial effect on ADHD children recovery. Other beneficial effects are given by teachers involvement in the optimization

groups. The hypothesis that the effect of the interaction of these variables on the ADHD children progresses wasn t proved. The intellectual factor doesn t influence the effect of psychotherapy and optimization group. GENDER STEREOTYPES - THE MOST BASIC COMPONENT OF THE GENDER BELIEFS SYSTEM Monica Secui 7 Gender is a significant social psychological construct, developed from conditions and experiences that a culture systematically and differentially assigns to the categories of males and females. People posses a wide range of ideas related with gender: beliefs about the characteristics and roles that are typical associated in their culture with women and men, attitudes about what is considered appropriate for individuals of both gender categories in terms of abilities and behaviors, and also the views people hold about themselves in terms of gender. The purpose of this paper is to emphasis the role of gender stereotypes in the gender beliefs system, considering that the people ideas about traits, roles, preference, and skills assign in their culture to human femaleness and maleness have a powerful effect on their attitudes about toward self and other. REPREZENTAREA BOLII ŞI MECANISME DE COPING LA BOLNAVII DIAGNOSTICAŢI CU CANCER Tatiana Buianina 8 According to Leventhal, the disease s perception and copping strategy have an essential role in psychological adaptation through illness. Changing the negative perception of disease can be important in functionality and wellbeing improvement. In this article we propose to examine the role of perception in the process of copping mechanism choosing and its influence on emotional state of cancer diagnosed patients. INFLUENŢA STIMEI DE SINE, A FEEDBACK-ULUI ŞI A LOC-LUI ASUPRA STILULUI DECIZIONAL LA MANAGERI Ioan Tia 9 Two experiments tested the idea that a motive to protect self-esteem (SE) from the threat of regret, and LOC internal vs. external can influence decision making. In study 1 threat to SE was manipulated by varying whether people expected to know the outcome of their decision. When Ss expected feedback about their decisions, only Ss low in SE made regret-minimizing choices. When Ss did not expected to know the outcome of their decisions, SE differences in choice strategies disappeared. This study suggest that people base decisions not only on objective attributes of choice alternatives, but also on the damage to SE that is perceived to

result from a poor- decision outcome. In study 2 is explore relationship between assessed measures of internality and externality of control and risk taking behavior. CHESTIONARUL DE CONVINGERI PERSONALE STUDIU DE ADAPTARE PE POPULAŢIA ROMÂNEASCĂ Simona Popa 10 The aim of this study is to describe the Survey of Personal Beliefs norms for Romanian population. It has a good reliability and validity, and it is recommended to be used in the future research. ADAPTAREA PE POPULAŢIE DE LIMBĂ ROMÂNĂ A CHESTIONARULUI DE STIL ATRIBUŢIONAL (A.S.Q.) STUDIU PILOT Mihai Marian 11 This articole presents the Romanian norms for The Attributional Style Questionnaire (A.S.Q.) (Peterson, Semmel, von Baeyer, Abramson, Metalsky and Seligman in 1982) The results obtained are, in general conistent with those obtained by earlier normative studies involving American samples. The sample of this study is formed from non-clinical subjects (N=234). The reliability of the new instrument is adequate, the internal consistency coefficients (Alfa Cronbach) for the four attributional processes and the global score ranged from.42 to.74. MILLON CLINICAL MULTIAXIAL INVENTORY-III ÎN EVALUAREA DEPRESIEI Camelia Dindelegan 12 Lulea Cătălin 13 Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory-III (MCMI-III) is a new personality inventory (1994) that tries to enter in to the clinical life, among the classical ones, like MMPI2. În this study, MCMI-III it is used to evaluate the clinical state of 20 depressed patients, compare with 20 nonclinical subjects. Also we used Beck Depression Inventory and Depression Scale of MMPI2. The results sustain our hypotheses: MCMI-III can be used with success to rate the depression state.

MECANISME INHIBITIVE ATENŢIONALE ŞI MNEZICE ÎN FOBIA SOCIALĂ Veronica Bogorin 14 The main objective of this study is to investigate the inhibitory mechanism s role in relative attention and intentional forgetting of students diagnosed with social anxiety. It was hypothesized that the inhibitory mechanisms of anxious subjects are less efficient in threatening distracters inhibition, their performance to a negative priming task being lower. The second hypothesis is that the anxious subjects show a stronger counter intentional effect for emotional stimuli, to an intentional forgetting (global instruction) task; they will retrieve these stimuli preferentially. Both hypotheses were confirmed. 1 Profesor universitar doctor, Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj 2 Psiholog, licenţiat al Facultăţii de Psihologie şi Ştiinţele Educaţiei, UBB 3 Doctorand al Facultăţii de Psihologie şi Ştiinţele Educaţiei 4 Profesor universitar doctor, Facultatea de Ştiinţe Socio-Umane, Universitatea din Oradea 5 Assistant teacher, University of Arizona, U.S.A. 6 Lector universitar doctor, Universitatea din Piteşti 7 Lector univ. drd.
