The Fourth International Hemodialysis Course Urology & Nephrology Center, Mansoura University (October 17th - October 21 st, 2011) It is our pleasure to welcome all of you for your attendance the fourth international hemodialysis course that is held at Urology and Nephrology Center, Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt in collaboration with Egyptian Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation, Arab Society of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation and European Renal Association. The primary aim of this course is to help the interested colleagues to provide competent, safe and updated standard of care for hemodialysis patients. We will concentrate on the clinical practice training as well as the applicable knowledge because we believe that science has been seriously retarded by the study of what is not worth knowing, and what is not knowable. Special workshops are added this year to cover the practical aspects of slow continuous therapies. Besides workshops and live case discussion for adult and pediatric patients, this course will include lectures and interactive sessions designed on a problem-based learning with voting system to customize your time. We try to face the challenge to cover both the practical approaches and the sophisticated arenas. We believe that the only guarantee for our success is your careful attention and interaction. On behalf of organizing committee, I'd like to thank our guest speakers and I hope to have a fruitful course and pleasant stay with us in Mansoura. Course Director Dr. Hussein Sheashaa Assistant Prof. of Nephrology UNC, Mansoura Course Chairman Prof. Adel Bakr Head of Nephrology UNC, Mansoura
