Welcome e Dear OTC members mbers from Switzerland, Dear colleagues, The Interlaken Trauma a Course OTC Switzerland 2017 has been a real success. We are pleased to announce that the OTC Course Switzerland 2018 will take place under the same format in Thun from September 10 to 13, 2018. This is a unique occasion for our young collegues to learn Traumatology under a theoretical perspective and, above all, a practical view in contact with experienced senior fellows. The number of participants is limited to 50, thus allowing personalized and meaningful discussions during four days. Deserving committed participants will be allowed to work as instructor, after being selected by the Board Committee. The Committee has been renewed this year and will pursue the excellent work that has been done so far. I would like to warmly thank Prof. M. Heinzelmann who has masterly lead the OTC Switzerland for the last 10 years. This OTC Course Switzerland is part of the training program of the FMH, acknowledged by the SGC-SSC (25 credits) and the SSGOT-SSOT (16 credits). Thanks to its duration and number of credit points, and at a fair reasonable price, it gives the opportunity to discover or reinforce one s knowledge in the techniques of osteosynthesis in general, with a main strength on nailing techniques and external fixation. Last but not least, do not miss the opportunity to win a Two-week Trauma Fellowship in Europe, by participating in the contest on Thursday, September 13, 2018! We already look forward to welcoming you in Thun next September 2018 for the TRAU- MA COURSE OTC SWITZERLAND, THUN 2018.
