This award consists of a certificate of merit and a check for $1,000 Dr. Joseph M. Simpson III Award for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry The Dr. Joseph M. Simpson III award for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry is presented to the graduating senior who has demonstrated understanding and vision of artistic design as it relates to restorative dentistry and whose student practice was functionally sound and compressive at the same time notably aesthetic. The recipient has demonstrated charismatic chair-side manner, and achieved strong academic performance.
