Ketamine - Acute Pain: Parting Thoughts Viable perioperative option. Need further studies regarding dose dependent issues, ie. efficacy, ae s. Provides short term, opioid sparing approach in variety of patient populations with sub-anesthetic dosing. Further exploration regarding non-parenteral indications and routes of delivery.
