WELCOME HEAD HEART Dear Partner, Thank you for your interest in Women Moving Millions. As you may know, we are a dynamic community of over 220 members who have each given $1 million or more to organizations and/or initiatives that promote gender equality across the globe. We believe that in order to create a gender balanced world, we must invest in women s philanthropic leadership in order to catalyze unprecedented resources towards the advancement of women and girls. What started as a singular campaign has become a community filled with formidable and compassionate individuals who embody what it means to be ALL IN FOR HER. Fully embraced, being ALL IN FOR HER means you are giving big, being bold, acting collaboratively, and applying a gender lens to focus your funding on the specific needs of women and girls. Today, we have an unprecedented opportunity to put growing resources behind proven solutions and visionary leaders. At Women Moving Millions, our members are putting their money where their values are, and we want to help you encourage your major donors to do the same. Women Moving Millions is a development engine, and we work for you. Our work is in activating new million dollar gifts for women and girls, because we know that big money drives big impact and big change. That s why we work with partners like you to cultivate new members who share our mission and vision of global gender justice. To be clear, a donor joins Women Moving Millions after she makes a $1 million commitment directly to your organization. When your donor joins our community, she can expect to be embraced by some of the most dynamic and generous people on the planet all of whom share our mission and vision of empowering women and girls around the world. We also offer our members and partners access to amazing gatherings, skills-building workshops, unique learning and sharing opportunities focused on building each of our member s leadership as a funder and champion of gender equality. Solving complex problems like poverty, violence and economic inequities is not best tackled alone. It will take all of us doing what we can, with what we have, and with all we are to have lasting positive impact. That is the power of our community. Herein you will find more detailed information on the Who, What and Why of Women Moving Millions. Our hope is that what you learn will inspire you to engage with us in order to raise big + bold gifts for your organization. The journey is just beginning, and we cannot wait for you to take part. Warmly, Jessica Houssian Women Moving Millions

Women Moving Millions members fund across a variety of issue areas, covering the full spectrum of global develoment issues from education and healthcare to clean water access and gender-based violence. 5Only 5% of total grant monies from 42 European foundations benefits women and girls (less than 10% in the US). WHAT WE DO INSPIRE BIG GIVING; STRENGTHEN BOLD LEADERS We promote bold giving and inspire million dollar commitments to women s organizations and initiatives. We amplify our members individual impact by sharing knowledge, strengthening skill sets, fostering leadership development, and leveraging networks. We leverage the collective power and impact of our community by offering platforms and opportunities for collective action. Women accounted for 27% of the global High Net Worth Individuals population in 2010, up from 24% in 2008.

WHY JOIN OUR MEMBER OFFERINGS We provide our members with unique event experiences, opportunities for personal and professional development, and unprecedented access to an extraordinary community of peers and leaders with shared values and the vision of a better world. OUR COMMUNITY Included in this dynamic community are many of the trailblazing women philanthropists of our time. Our members fund a diverse range of issue areas and possess unique expertise from education, to health, to safety, and beyond and we offer a multitude of ways to connect with each other, including Pathable, our online social networking platform, and a private Facebook page. OUR EVENTS Women Moving Millions is about gathering, both in person and virtually, to share special opportunities for learning, teaching, collaborating and skills building. In addition to leveraging the incredible knowledge and expertise within our community, we invite various global leaders to participate as speakers and panelists at our events. Past speakers include Gloria Steinem, Pat Mitchell, Eve Ensler, Stephen Lewis, Mariane Pearl and Leymah Gbowee. Together, our members and these leaders inspire exciting ideas and create new opportunities. Our events take on a variety of forms, including: The Annual Summit is curated by members and convenes every September in New York City. This event is for members, prospective members, foundation leaders, corporate partners, and invited guests. Our Annual Member Retreat offers our members the opportunity to reconnect their heads with their hearts. This event occurs every spring, and is also curated by members. Our Skills Building Workshops are executed in partnership with service providers to develop and hone the specific skill sets of participants. The ALL IN FOR HER Salon Series offers more intimate member gatherings throughout the year around what it means to be ALL IN FOR HER. Our Synergy Events are uniquely curated experiences to which members are invited, produced by other organizations (not by Women Moving Millions). OUR PROGRAMS Women Moving Millions offers several programs for member engagement and personal development: The Briefs & Briefings Program gives members with specific issue areas of expertise the opportunity to share their knowledge in a written brief followed by an online briefing webinar for the community. The Circles Program is an organizational engagement tool which provides opportunities for member interaction, knowledge sharing, and collective action around issues of greatest interest. The Speakers Program offers and supports members public speaking engagements allowing members the opportunity to advocate for women s philanthropy and other issues. In addition to our programs and events, our leadership and staff teams are here to support you and your philanthropy.

This movement gives all high net worth women the opportunity to come together and do great things. By combining our individual voice and talents with a united and larger voice and talent, WOMEN MOVING MILLIONS through its union and spirit is giving us the added strength to be authentic, to be ourselves, to say what is important to us, boldly and with power. WOMEN MOVING MILLIONS ensures that we will be heard. Lauren Embrey My most valued relationship is with my tribe of sisters at WOMEN MOVING MILLIONS. Margot Franssen WOMEN MOVING MILLIONS has reached out and wrapped its generous arms around all of us and made our giving into a community of giving, into a movement.
