Auburn Treasurer s Report Announcements Motion to Close the Meeting Madison Kramer Michael Mattingly Open Welcome Members and Guests Introduction of members and guests. Attendance roster distributed. Thanks and Appreciation Thanks to Christ Hospital for providing lunch. Also, thanks to HCMHRSB for providing the meeting space. Approval of February Minutes Motion by Steve McConnell, 2 nd by Brian Monk. Motion carries. Christ Hospital Madison Kramer presented various ways for individuals and businesses to volunteer at The Christ Hospital. Opportunities include: Adopt a bed (garden), Weekend encourager (visit with patients on weekends). The hospital also has item drives, such as donating crossword puzzle books. Individuals can also volunteer for the Info Desk and Nurse s Station. Densmore & Shoal Law Firm Michael Mattingly presented the law firm of Densmore and Shoal s, and how they specialize in Employer/Employee relationships regarding litigation surrounding the use of background checks, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Discrimination regarding potential employees. Also discussed was the new Ban the Box law for public employers. Clean-Up Mt. Auburn Clean-Up Mt. Auburn Day is Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 9:00am to 12 Noon. Meeting place will be Jackson Hill Park. There will be a sign-up sheet for anyone interested in volunteering this year. Treasurer s Report Treasure balance beginning February 1, 2016 is $4,880.64. The income for February was membership dues in the amount of $525.00. The expenses for January expenses were $70.00. Ending balance for February 29, 2016 is $5,335.64.

Announcements People s Liberty, a philanthropic laboratory located in Over-the-Rhine, has $10,000 Grants to apply for If anyone has suggestions for bringing in new members, please see Mike Mendralski. If anyone is interested in signing up to host lunch, please see Courtney Miller (Debbie s Assistant). Mt. Auburn received a NEP (Neighborhood Enhancement Program) Grant. A committee will be formed on how to best use the grant money. For information with HR issues, contact Paychex to schedule for upcoming seminar. Informational flyer was passed out.
