Important information about some of the excipients of MAGNEZINC If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking MAGNEZINC, because it contains lactose. This medicinal product contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) of sodium per each tablet, i.e. essentially sodium-free. It contains coloring agents which may cause allergic reactions. Using with other medicines Co-intake of tetracyclines, quinolones, and penicillamines with zinc and magnesium salts may result in the reduction of the effect of MAGNEZINC; therefore these substances should be taken 2 hours before or after MAGNEZINC. High doses of iron preparations should not be used together with MAGNEZINC as they prevent the absorption of MAGNEZINC. Contraceptive medicines can reduce blood zinc levels. 2 /5
