Founder chairman of the Kenya Association for Dental Research (KADR). 3. Started the Kenya Student Clinician Program in 2010, which has since the mentored and prepared final year dental students at the University of Nairobi to participate at Student Clinician Programme of the American Dental association. 4. As the chairman of the Infection Prevention and Waste Management Committee at Loitokitok District Hospital, I managed to start a soap making project for the hospital. This led to a 73%( from Ksh. 90,000 down to Ksh.24,000) reduction in expenditure on soap per quarter. 5. Been involved in coordinating mentorship of dental students by dentists in the private and public sector. This is facilitated by the office of the Dean Dental School. 6. Started a School Dental Outreach Program among primary schools in Muranga District. The activities were sponsored by GSK and Colgate Pamolive. 7. As a student leader during my undergraduate studies, I convinced my fellow student leaders to set aside 2 million of the annual students council budget to help needy students. This bursary program is ongoing to-date. 8. Co-founder of the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU). Served as first National Vice Chairperson 2010-2012. 9. I founded an online discussion forum known as "Young & Progressive Dentists Initiative ". This group has over 500 practicing dentists in Kenya and in the diaspora.
