Recent empirical work includes changes in women s mating strategies across the lifespan, willingness to engage in short-term low commitment relationships as a function of the potential costs and benefits of such a relationship, sex differences in detecting sexual exploitability in women, and individual differences in men s feelings of jealousy and relationship maintenance as a function of erectile health. Teaching Interests I have taught relatively small classes in Introduction to Psychology and Research Methods and I really enjoy being able to give individual attention to students. I have assisted and given guest lectures in much larger classes (100-330 students) and would be comfortable teaching classes of that size as well. I am interested in teaching general classes such as Introduction to Psychology and Biopsychology. I would also like to teach classes in my area of interest which include Evolutionary Psychology, Human Mating, Social Psychology, and Personality. Additionally, I am more than happy to teach writing component classes or to structure my classes so they fulfill writing requirements.
