Vaping: Dabs & Waxes

Dabs & Waxes: What Are They? Dabs & Waxes: street/slang terms for extracted THC oil from marijuana plants very high concentration of THC Other street/slang terms: shatter, BHO (butane honey oil), earwax, budder, oil/710, errl, glob, etc. Street/slang terms by product names (based on marijuana strain)

Dabs & Waxes: How Are They Made? The process is very dangerous that can involve destruction, severe injury and/or death...

Dabs & Waxes: Why The Concern? One puff of dab/wax = ten puffs of marijuana Effects are immediate; intensity of effects are extreme often causing blackouts Significantly increases tolerance...quickly leading to addiction Inhaled using vapes/e-cig devices...making it difficult to detect Vaping dabs/waxes is growing popularity among teens

Electronic Cigarettes (E-Cigarettes) An electronic cigarette (e-cig or e-cigarette), personal vaporizer (PV) or electronic nicotine delivery system (ENDS) is a battery powered vaporizer which simulates the feeling of smoking, but without tobacco combustion. Their use is commonly called vaping. This same device can be used to smoke concentrated cannabis, called honey oil, wax, shatter, dabs, and several other names. The THC level can be greater than 70%. Teens call them trippy sticks. The marijuana is undetected by sight and smell.
