President: Larry Nowak I would like to thank all the members, volunteers and guests that helped make the Super Bowl Brunch a success. We need to get more members to step up and help with the events at the club, It's always the same people helping out. The events help pay the bills at the club, maybe we need to go back to scheduling members to work the events. The ST PATTIES PARTY is on March 11 th, start planning to attend. The Board Meeting is March 11th at 2:00pm with the Membership Meeting at 3:00pm. Come up to the club and have a good time. Thank You.

There is a lot of work that needs to be done. Check with me or the grounds crew if you need to make up a duty or work party. After you make up a work duty, be sure to call me at (708) 845-1987 so it is recorded. Just a reminder: your scheduled work duty can be done the day before or the day after. If you still can t do your duty, you will need to switch with another member. Try your sponsors or ask them for suggestions of people to switch with. If you sold 30 tickets last year there will be 30 tickets in your packet. I will get them to you as soon as I receive them from the printer. Entertainment: JoAnne Tyree Thanks to all who participated in our 9 th Annual Chili Cook Off on February 18th. We were close to a record amount of great entries! After a lot of tasting, voters finally decided the top 3 winners. Our 1 st place winner was Claudia Onitiveros, 2 nd place was Bart Campbell, and 3 rd place was JoAnne Tyree. Congratulations to all the winners and again, thanks to all who attended and supported our annual cook-off!

We will be playing Trivia again on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 6pm. Registration begins at 5:30pm. Bring a team of up to 6 people. Cost is $5 per person. On Saturday, March 11 th we will host our annual St. Patrick s Day Party. Tickets are $20 each and available at the door. This could be your Lucky Day!! See attached flier for all the details! Looking ahead in April, Stevie Starlite will be at the club for an encore performance! Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 8 th, 8pm 12pm. Tickets are $10 per person. This event is helping to pay our assessment so please come and support the club. Bring your friends! **The club bar is now open daily at 3pm, Monday through Friday along with our regular weekend hours. Stop by with friends and family. Lady Ikes: Lori Brach Hello all!!! March is here, spring right around the corner!!! A great time to get out and about and have some fun! Lady Ikes Meeting are the 3 rd Sunday of each month at 2pm, this time is in an effort more individuals can attend/enjoy the meetings!!! Our March Meeting will be the 19 th, we will be playing Spring-O- Bingo, feel free to stop by=-) Please remember our meetings always include lots of fun, conversation, relaxation, cocktails and refreshments! Sunday afternoons are a great time to relax before you begin your busy week. Please plan to stop by; we would love to see new faces!!! Planning ahead, mark your calendars!!! o Sunday April 23 rd we will be attending Mrs. Dornberg s Culinary Experience in Munster Indiana, she will be providing lessons Cooking with Herbs, and we get to enjoy a complete meal!! $32. per person o Sunday May 21 st we will be Painting with Cocktails beginning at 2pm right at the club!!! $30. per person which includes a complimentary beer or cocktail. Light refreshments will be served! If interested in either or both activities, please see Cheri Campioni or Lori Brach Just a reminder the Lady Ikes will be hosting their Corn Boil, Sunday July 16 th!!! Conceal & Carry: Karen DiPrizio I am trying to organize a conceal and carry class which will be held at the Izaak Walton. The dates that we are considering, (with board approval) are March 18 or 19. *We need at least 10 people *The class is 10 hours *The price is $180 *We will be going to a shooting range once our class is completed I need to know who is interested and what day is good for you. I would appreciated responses by February 28, 2017(if possible, will accept late responses). : ) Camping & Storage Committee Jerry McFadden FYI in accordance with our liability insurance, all campers and storage items (i.e. boats and trailers, ect.) must have current license plates, proof of insurance, and a current land use form on file a soon as possible. At the very latest, this should be turned in with your annual fee. Annual camper/storage fees will be due May 1 st and will be as follows: Small(under 14ft.)/Soft Sided Campers.$220.00 Large(14ft. +)/Hard Sided Campers $270.00 All Other Storage $200.00 each piece Camping: A letter to the Board is required before any camper is brought to the club. If you have a camper on the grounds or are thinking of having one, please read over the new rules. If you just camp for a night there is a small nightly fee. Check the rules. Copies of the rules can be found in the clubhouse on the bulletin board. Storage: All camper and storage owners are responsible for keeping the area around their items clean and neat at all times. Also, in an effort to get our newsletter to everyone, we have put together a list of members who do not have access to the internet, or cannot get up to the club to pick a copy up. If you know of a member who would be interested in having a copy mailed, please contact Julie Osborne or myself to get on the mailing list. All submissions for the newsletter should be sent to JoAnne Tyree (jotyree@comcast.net) by the membership meeting each month.
