Dr. RIE ROSELYN YOTSU Department of Dermatology National Center for Global Health and Medicine, Tokyo, Japan A young dermatologist with deep interest in community dermatology and infectious diseases with skin symptoms, HIV-related skin conditions, mycobacterial diseases (tuberculosis, leprosy, Buruli ulcer, etc.), and wound care. She also provides education to the Master and PhD students of School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health, Nagasaki University. She is currently working on a multi-disciplinary intervention for novel diagnostics and management of neglected tropical diseases. She is the member of WHO working group on Buruli Ulcer and guideline committees for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Leprosy, Scabies, Buruli Ulcer. He is an Assistant Attending Physician and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He is the principal investigator on multiple early phase and first in human clinical trials including cellular therapies for patients with multiple myeloma. He also has an interest in health policy as it relates to oncologic drug approvals and the cost of cancer care. He leads the lymphoedema service in Derby, Nottingham and Mansfield, UK. He chairs the British Lymphology Society / Lymphoedema Support Network consensus group which has produced guidelines on the management of cellulitis in lymphoedema. His research interests include the early detection and possible prevention of lymphoedema in Breast Cancer, quality of life in lymphoedema, oedema in multiple sclerosis and oedema in obesity. Dr. VIJAYA BASAVARAJ Professor of Pathology, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, Mysore A well-known dermatopathologist of south India has experience of 16 years in the field and immunofluoresence of skin biopsies. She is continuously interacting with the dermatologists of JSS Medical college and conducting teaching sessions for dermatology postgraduate students. She is IAD s collaborator for dermatopathology analysis of biopsy samples. She reported rare lymphoedema
associated malignancies like Primary cutaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma etc in the biopsy samples of IAD s lymphoedema patients. Mr. WILLIAM REPICCI President & CEO, Lymphatic Education & Research Network, New York His mission is to fight lymphoedema and lymphatic diseases through education, research and advocacy. His career has focused on executive positions associated with social change, from running organizations for the developmentally disabled and the deaf, to producing issue-oriented plays during his many years in the theatre and publishing worlds. From writing the US Senate bill that established World Lymphedema Day, to securing Lymphoedema activist actor Kathy Bates as LE&RN's spokesperson, he has focused his six years at LE&RN on deconstructing the obstacles to lymphoedema awareness and building a campaign to make it a global mission.
