How Much Fluid Can I Have? Monthly Puzzle 8 Birthdays 8 Limit fluid to 6 cups per day (depending on urine output) Note: 1 cup = 8 ounces Daily total = 48 ounces = 6 cups Try to gain only 1-3 kg between each dialysis treatment Note: 1 kg = 2.2 pounds More Fluid = Longer Dialysis Treatments **Weigh yourself each morning if you re gaining a lot of weight, drink less!**

Strawberry Dream Fruit Salad Ingredients 16 oz. Cottage Cheese 2, 3oz packages Strawberry Sugar free Gelatin (watch for added phosphorus) 1, 14oz bag Sliced Frozen Unsweetened Strawberries 1 (8oz.) container Whipped Topping Directions Let frozen fruit soften. In a mixing bowl, combine gelatin, cottage cheese, whipped topping, and frozen fruit. Refrigerate until chilled and serve. Sour Candy Grapes Thirst Quencher! Ingredients 1 box 3oz package of Gelatin (watch for phosphorus additives!) 3lb grapes (green grapes work best) 1 cup water *Lemon Juice (optional) Directions 1. Wash grapes under running water (do not dry) 2.
