Principal s Report (Laurie L): Pancake Tuesday: Thank you for support - 1000 pancakes made! Everything went well Calendar: March: The Big Crunch - March 10 to be added to the calendar April: Musical Theatre Group Ballroom: May 10 - Wednesday Staffing: Staffing model not yet updated - meeting w/ Superintendent on Wednesday - needs to be approved by March 31 Currently 68 JK / SK students for Sept Allocation given for SK / Gr. 1 135 spots, 5 spots remain open - SK/1 - no more than 20, max SK - 15 Projection for September is 513 -- teacher count - 18 --> 21 Breakdown of grades to come in April Board is considering to set up a central system for payment - similar to what we do w/ Hot Lunches - a survey will be sent out to the group Reconciliation will be taken care of by School Board May replace the Hot Lunches website Chairs Report (Suzanne W.): Nothing to report at this time Treasurer s Report (Tracy): Update from last month Fundraising Dance-A-thon - EXTREMLY successful - $14 565.00 Amount fundraised so far - $ 35 000.00 Budget approved last month update: o 31340 allocated dollars spent so far. Allocation today o Ducks o Library books o Greening o 1/2 Teachers Funds o $ 3850.00 Page 2 of 5

Swimming will not be covered this year - all good so far Curling set and light tables - removed from the table due to upcoming changes will it be a priority for next year s staff? No. Started the school year with $13 000.00 Fundraising added Total: $ 31 340.00 Minus $ 3850.00 $12 810.00 remain Motion to approve the remaining amounts for the 4 items Tabling the remaining items for April 4th meeting Motion approved Parish Update (Danny F.): Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday Mass times are 9:30a.m for school and community. 7:00pm for all of us who are working. Stations of the cross every Friday during Lent at 7:00pm starting March the 3 rd until Good Friday April 14. Coffee Sunday March 19 after 9:30am and 11:30am Masses only. Community Rep Update (Ron G.): Nothing to report OAPCE Rep Update (Kamila W. & My C.) Regional rep has been elected to VP role on provincial level parent engagement rep - encouraging parents to speak up Mental Health aspect - Video to be shared with the group following meeting Special Education Rep Update (Maria B.): Information to be sent - date confirmed April 1-9:30 onward - to be held at the Board Www.learndifferent.org Academic Committee Update (Jennifer C.): Survey has begun w/ students via teachers Initial Contacts made with book companies Trevor Brown - still awaiting confirmation of date. Hopefully by end of March Page 3 of 5

Communications Committee Update (Roseline K.): Constant Contact Team continues to send out information on a weekly basis on a weekly basis Requests have been received to send information and reminders out on multiple times / week Sending out messages more than 2x/week, seems to have a negative impact There are ~470 contacts following multiple mailing in a week, there has been a 1-3% decrease in the membership (5-15 contacts request to be removed from the mailing list) Incumbent on us to follow the protocol set out and not communicate directly with the CC Team. Filter information through Executive group and let process follow. Otherwise, there is room for confusion on what is to be sent out and miscommunications will occur. Community Relations Update (Sarah H., in absentia): Nothing to report Fundraising (Christina M.): Spring Dinner Dance scheduled for May o Will be built as a community night - not a fundraiser - ticket prices to be kept at the same price - adult: $ 30.00, child: $ 20.00 Fun fair September o No one at the helm yet... No past members have indicated interest. Anyone from this committee? May have to open up to school community at large o Maria B. has indicated that she would be open to Co-Chairing the event looking for another Co-Chair to share the workload. Health & Wellness (Kamila W.): Moved to April PRO Grant Committee Update (Maria B.): Feb 27 th - successful program 47 people registered, 30 people attended PRO Grant for next year - beginning of May New School Funding Status (Jennifer C.): March 28th - we are meeting with Trustee, Head of Facilities, Brought up 2x - Board is recommending us for a new school, on their radar, Only provincial funding can be used - province says no... Boost enrolment to make a better case w/ province to get that funding What is happening w/ St. Louis? As a result of St. Leo's program St. Louis not closing as previously indicated. Peter M. To be invited - need local provincial support School Traffic Status (Maria B.): No progress, no report at this time Page 4 of 5

New Business (Suzanne W.): Swim Team Who will be in a Head Coach role for next year? On the lookout for a new Head Coach... Many people to help but no one to take over at this time further conversation to come. Volunteers are in great demand. May 24th - deadline for PRO Grant -- workshop - April 24th -- add to April 4th meeting to get a group going for this submission - topic? Greening - looking at suppliers Newsletter to School Community March / June Communicate with what's been going on in respective committees Suzanne W. - Editor Committee Chairs send information to Suzanne for inclusion Motion put forward to issue a newsletter out to the school community March / June Announcement and Date Time & Location of Next Meeting (Suzanne W.): Next meeting is scheduled for April 4 th at 7:00 pm in the Library Adjournment: Suzanne W. calls the meeting to a close at 8:21 pm.
