My current project explores the role of childhood maltreatment and emotion regulation strategies in later psychological health and stress psychophysiology, such as behavioral responses, psychological responses, and respiratory sinus arrhythmia as well as other physiological indexes of autonomic nerves system functioning during social interactions. I am also interested in the extent to which culture can exert an influence on emotional recognition.
