Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County Since 2001, Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County has provided thousands of young people, between the ages of 6 18 years old, with a safe and positive place to go throughout the year. For an after school membership fee of only $20 a year, we provide a wide range of impactful programs to more than 2,000 Club members annually at one of two neighborhood Club locations the Northtown Club (Greater Hillyard) and the Lisa Stiles-Gyllenhammer Club (Mead). During the summer, a critical unsupervised time for youth, the Clubs also offer Spokane s most affordable, fun and educational 10-week day camp. Our nominal fees, the lowest in the region, allow us to serve more kids and teens, provide a positive benefit to the Spokane community and ultimately ensure we achieve our mission To empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential through opportunities to realize Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character and Citizenship. The evening s festivities will include silent and live auctions, hors d oeuvres, a delicious plated dinner, as well as inspirational stories from Club members. Guests should come prepared to enjoy a fun evening while supporting local kids in need! Friday, February 23th, 2018 at 5:30pm Where: The Grand Ballroom located in the Davenport Grand Hotel. Who: Folks like you! Business and community leaders and friends who are passionate about our mission and want to ensure kids and teens get the encouragement and support they need to dream big and build a better future. Why: Doors to Dreams raises a large portion of the funds that allow us to serve over 500 local youth each day. The majority of boys and girls served by our Clubs come from disadvantaged circumstances and look to us as an important stabilizing force in their lives. This annual event helps bridge the gap between the $20 Club members pay each year and the nearly $500 it costs to provide programs for one child annually.
