Project Lead the Way National Summit Joe Sechrist moved to approve the attendance of two teachers at the 2017 Project Lead the Way National Summit. Motion seconded by Jared Jost. Carried 6-0. 3. Out-of-State Trips Jared Jost moved to approve the FFA trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, from October 17, 2016, through October 22, 2016, the TSA trip to the National TSA Conference in Orlando, Florida, from June 21, 2017, through June 25, 2017, and the Band and Choir trip to Colorado Springs, Colorado, from May 12, 2017, through May 14, 2017. Motion seconded by 4. Sale of Computers to the Technology Excellence in Education Network (TEEN) Jim Paulus moved to approve the sale of 3-year-old laptop computers previously used by Hillsboro Middle School to the Technology Excellence in Education Network (TEEN) for $25 per laptop. Motion seconded by Tim Kaufman. Carried 6-0. 5. Disposal of Property The Board took no action.

Executive Session for Personnel Hillsboro Middle/High School Principal at 8:25 p.m. for the purpose of discussing matters related to personnel and for the Board to return to open meeting at 8:35 p.m. in this room. The executive Hillsboro Middle/High School Principal at 8:35 p.m. for the purpose of discussing matters related to personnel and for the Board to return to open meeting at 8:40 p.m. in this room. The executive Hillsboro Middle/High School Principal at 8:40 p.m. for the purpose of discussing matters related to personnel and for the Board to return to open meeting at 8:45 p.m. in this room. Sherlyn Hill Lehigh Afternoon Bus Route Driver and Transportation Aide ($9.00 per hour) Jim Paulus moved to approve the hiring of Brenda Sechrist as Hillsboro Elementary School Second Grade Classroom Aide for $11.62 per hours and to approve the hiring of Sherlyn Hill as Lehigh Afternoon Bus Route Driver and Transportation Aide for $9.00 per hour. Motion seconded by Tim Kaufman. Carried 6-0.

Tricia Williamson Hillsboro High School Assistant Drama Coordinator ($1,418) Rod Koons moved to approve the issuance of supplemental contracts to Autumn Hardey to serve as Hillsboro Elementary School After-School Program Coordinator for $1,418 per year and to Tricia Williamson to serve as Hillsboro High School Assistant Drama Coordinator for $1,418 per year. Motion seconded by 4. Contracts a. Dustin Dalke Art Teacher Mark Rooker moved to approve the issuance of a contract to Dustin Dalke to teach middle school art for an additional 28 minutes on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning on September 19, 2016, and to pay him at his regular rate of pay for the additional time.
