The Cardiac Patient from Birth to Adulthood 21 22 February 2019 in Stockholm Sweden The symposium is arranged by the Journal of Internal Medicine Acta Paediatrica Swedish Society of Medicine

Berzelius symposium 99 The Cardiac Patient from Birth to Adulthood The symposium will be held at the Swedish Society of Medicine in Stockholm on 21 22 February 2019. The symposium will cover several aspects on heart disease but with a focus on congenital heart disease. The lecturers are international experts in their respective fields. There will also be clinical case presentation with discussions and possibilities to present abstracts with input from leading experts. Areas covered are epidemiology of adult congenital heart disease, congenital heart disease and development of atherosclerosis, prematurity and later development of arterial hypertension, single ventricle physiology, exercise capacity, arrhythmia, patient reported outcomes and closure of persisent foramen ovale in cryptogenic stroke. We hope that you will join us for the Berzelius symposium on 21 22 February 2019 and look forward to your active participation. General information When and where? 21 22 February 2019 at the Swedish Society of Medicine, Klara Östra Kyrkogata 10 in Stockholm Sweden. Registration 1st December 2018, is deadline for registration. Please use the registration form on the website www.sls.se/birth-to-adulthood Registration fees Members of the SSM 2.000 SEK, non-member 2.500 SEK, late registration 3.000 SEK (after 1st December). Buffet dinner on 21st February, 500 SEK. Payment The registration fee must be paid before 20th December 2018, at the latest. Registration after 1st December may be possible, but at extra cost, as outlined above. We can send you an invoice for the fee (please state the correct invoice address, reference/kostnadsställe, etc). Cancellation Cancellation of your participation has to be made in writing and sent to annie.melin@sls.se before 20th December 2018. For cancellations received after 20th December 2018, a cancellation fee of SEK 500 will be charged. After this date, no refund will be possible. Transfer of registration In the event that you are unable to attend the meeting and would like to transfer your registration to a colleague, this can be done at no charge. Please contact the congress secretariat no later than one week before the symposium (before 13th February 2019). Lunches and coffee are included in the participation cost and will be served on the premises at the Swedish Society of Medicine. Buffet dinner on 21st February: fee, 500 SEK. Posters You are most welcome to submit a poster abstract to the meeting! Please register for the meeting before you send in the abstract! Max length 44 lines with Times New Roman 12 p. A limited number of abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation in the poster sessions. Please send your abstract to: abstract.bz99@sls.se, not later than 1st December, 2018.
