Brief Introduction Hesperidin is a flavan-on glycoside found in citrus fruits. Its aglycone form is called hesperetin. Both hesperidin and its aglycone Hesperitin have been reported to possess a wide range of pharmacological properties. Hesperidin, Rutin and other flavonoids thought to reduce capillary permeability and to have anti-inflammatory action were collectively known as vitamin P. Therefore, it was widely used in food, supplements, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and other industries. Laws and Regulations: Hesperidin has been listed in Japan Food Additives List with No.289.
