January 21 st January 25 th COMMUNITY EDUCATION SPRING CLASSES Attention Students the brochures are available in the counseling office for the Spring Community education classes. The classes are: Intro to Sewing - Kenobbie Intermediate Sewing - Kenobbie Cooking - Cupcake focus - Peck Improv - Beaubien Jazz Band (Before School) Boucher Hurry and register before the classes fill up. Keep your memories alive with your printed photo. https://vando.imagequix.com/g1000689790 SPORTS NEWS Attention both 7 th and 8 th grade students, if you are interested in playing baseball this year you must attend the informational meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 16th at 3:10pm in Mr. Walrod's room #E5 Baseball camp will be on Wednesday and Thursday January 30th and 31st from 3:15-5:00pm on the Hillcrest field, $50 dollar fee and camp shirt is included. Please bring all of your equipment and have your completed Deer Valley Packet, Brain book concussion score and physical evaluation form for the current year. Forms can be found in the front office, counseling office, Mr. Walrod or Mrs. Biller s classroom. See you on the field.

Track and Field Parent/Student informational meeting will be held on January 31st at 5pm in the Hillcrest Gymnasium. Track and Field practices will begin on February 4th at 6:30am in the Hillcrest Gymnasium. Any student athlete who goes out for baseball or softball and does not make the team is welcome to Track and Field Practices starting at 6:30am in the Hillcrest Gymnasium. Forms for the student's physician to complete are available from the nurse, or email her to request the form(s) at: ellen.momeyer@dvusd.org * Prior to obtaining the form, please speak with Mrs. Linda Lowe at Hillcrest Middle School's front office about DVUSD's attendance criteria. Student(s) must apply for this every school year and the final decision is made by staff at DVUSD. *DVUSD's new medication policy A Doctor s Medication Authorization Form and Parent Medication Form can be found on the school s website for your reference. These are new documents. Hillcrest received a quarterly check for $918.21. We earned this money with only 167 households participating. Can you imagine if we had at least half the school participating how much we could earn? (Write down your email & password will need it in step 2) *Select Use Card Number. *Enter your Fry s V.I.P Card Number, last name and postal code. *Under Select Your Preferred Store enter your postal code. *Select Find Stores. *Choose your store then select Create Account. *You will then be prompted to check your email for a confirmation email. Click the hyperlink in your email to finish creating your Online Fry s Account. *Continue to step #2 to register for the Fry s Community Rewards Program of your choice. STEP 2: Register for the Fry s Community Rewards Program *Go to www.fryscommunityrewards.com

*Select Sign-In. *Enter your email and password then select sign in. (This will be the email and password you created in step 1) *Select My Account then select Account Settings from drop down menu. *Click edit under Community Rewards. If prompted, enter personal information. *Under Find Your Organization: Enter Hillcrest Middle School or the school code YW274 *Under Select Your Organization: Select box next to your organization *Then select save changes. *If you have registered correctly, you should now see your organization information listed under Community Rewards on your Account Summary page.
