Thanks to Dan and Carol Parsaca and their volunteers for a great New Year s Eve Party! Super Bowl Sunday: The club will be open on Sunday, February 3 rd from noon until the game is over. Come party at the club. $4.00 hamburgers and $4.50 cheeseburgers will be served. Fish Fry s in February will be Friday the 8 th and 22 nd. Come on down and support your club during lunch from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, or for dinner from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Members: Please remember the use of the Alcove is limited to 40 people. Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Jim VanDuinen who passed away last month. Support your club and our troops Ted Kowalewski Thumbs up! AUXILIARY NEWS Happy Valentine s Day! And welcome to February 2019. Because I m writing this on January 14 (goes to the publisher on the 15 of the month), I can t share the results of the January 19 Euchre Tournament at this time; however, I absolutely want to thank Amy Teske, Kelly Knapp, and April Cunningham for their hard work and unending enthusiasm in putting this fun event together. There will be a wrap-up report at the February 5 Auxiliary meeting. WOW! What a great Fish Fry attendance we ve been having! Congrats to the teams both lunch and dinner! Great volunteer involvement! And kudos to our cake bakers! Nearly $90 was made at the January 11 Fish Fry. We re looking forward to another great Fish Fry on January 25. February brings two more Fish Fry dates: February 8 and February 22. Another 10 cakes will be needed for each date. Please, please, please offer to bake a cake at our February 5 meeting. Remember to attach a note with the flavor of the cake; especially noting whether there are nuts in the recipe. I want to wish all of our Snow Birds a warm, safe winter.
